Final Boss mounts, and Personal Loot

Why am I not surprised that someone who has never cleared, or done, any meaningful content would have absolutely no idea how top end guilds work?

Tell me something, why does a trial(Who may, or may not, make it through their trial period) that likely pulls a 30th percentile parse on the boss deserve a mount over someone who is pulling a 90th+ percentile parse and has been there from the very first kill? The same goes for loot.

Oh look, another person who has never done anything worth mentioning in-game chiming in on matters they have no educated opinions on.

Don’t know! was already agreeing with you, but now you’re getting a bit judgy with the others so that’s kinda disappointing. Regardless, thank you for explaining various points to me, i honestly appreciate it.

I’m simply pointing out that people who never had the chance to be a part of a guild that actually clears content fast enough to actually worry about a mount shouldn’t be trying to discuss how those guilds should, and do, distribute loot. It’s not meant to be judgemental but, since they want to assume things work in a way that they have never experienced, I simply responded in kind. You’re welcome though.

Its a public forum we can chime in if we want . They deserve a chance at the mount just as much as you do . They are there helping you kill the boss .Why would you bother pugging others if they wouldnt have a fair chance at loot ? This entitled attitude is exactly why ML was taken from you . It doesnt take a mythic raiders IQ perspective to see how entitled you are being . Even with ML the mounts are still a slim 0.01% chance at dropping . Rng is still Rng even with ML or without. Its not going to change the % rate the mount drops. Seems like to me you are just because you want mount for yourself Is the vibe im getting from this post .

Like its just pixels in a video game ,youll be grinding that content for awhile gearing people im sure youll get the mount eventually . Idk why people are so entitled to this rush race of gimmie mount first . :tipping_hand_woman:

They will get there chance at the mount just as everyone else, but there priority will be lower, and they will have to wait longer, why would someone that is new to the guild deserve to get the mount sooner than someone who has been there since day 1.

Because they are participating and proving their worth to be there everyone should have a fair shot at everything . Aslong as they are trying and pulling their weight there is nothing wrong with that .

And thats why wow is on the decline, and will continue to be until blizzard decides the community, and guilds matter again. All casuals want is for the game to be “fair and equal”.

Geez you reek of entitlement .

Nowhere in there did i say that if they arnt apart of the guild or arnt part of the team since day 1 . Also no where in there did i say that the low dps parsers have a higher chance. I said if they pull their weight . Stop putting words in my mouth for me that have nothing to do with what i said.

If I’m in the group that gets the kill why don’t I deserve a shot at the mount? Is it because I’m not sleeping with the guild leader? Is it because I’m not his high school bro? And why is it up to you to decide?

Then what is the criteria for determining who gets it? How is ‘I’ve been in this guild since 1984’ more fair than everyone rolling? If you really don’t think I’m contributing to the boss kill, why am I in the group to begin with?

The most likely reason for this type of change is because the Blizzard GMs got tired of dealing with ticket after ticket after ticket to referee these kind of debates. Since many guilds can’t share their toys any better than three year old siblings on Christmas morning someone had to step in.

If you get that upset about someone else getting a friggin mount ahead of you, maybe you need to reassess your life priorities.

Its not because of the casuals . Bfa has good and bad things not everyone is going to be pleased.

Parsing at the 30th percentile is, in no way, “pulling their weight”. Most trials underperform severely seeing as they are killing bosses they’ve likely never seen and definitely haven’t been around long enough to mesh well with the raid group. Trials deserved the loot that the main raiders, who were carrying them, did not need. Trials deserve mounts after all of the main raiders get theirs. That’s how the game worked for 13 years before people who have never done relevant content whined it out of existence.

Again you are putting words in my mouth that i did not say.

I literally quoted what you said in every post. You claim they are pulling their weight, when they often aren’t. You said they deserve the same chance at gear and mounts as main raiders, which they don’t. It’s so funny that you can’t even grasp the difference between simply PUG’ing someone into your Mythic raid and someone who is trialing for your raid group. You don’t even understand that the Mythic raid mount has a 100% drop rate while it is current. So, again, you trying to discuss a topic you haven’t the first clue about.

You keep saying stuff that i didnt say . I said if they pull their weight. Nowhere in there did i say 30th or underpreforming trials ? Like come on not every trial is going to be thatttt clueless . Tbh why would you trial someone who is clueless in the first place ?

Spoken like someone who, again, has never touched a serious raid in their entire WoW career. You trial people who have a history of performing well. If they are still getting acclimated to how your raid group does fights, they absolutely will underperform. If they have a history of doing well on other fights and you bring them in on a fight they haven’t done, they will underperform. This conversation is over though. I’d have an easier time explaining particle physics to a particle.

What does my exp have to do with anything ?Its a public forum im sharing an opinion , you seem awfully upset about this topic maybe a breath of fresh air will help you .

Awfully upset? Hardly. I just realized that I’d have a better chance of making one of my dogs understand why main raiders deserve mounts over trials than I have of trying to make someone who has never stepped out of story mode that gives free loot understand.

See you seem very upset .
You can say "i simply disagree with your opinion because… ". Instead you resort to bashing ones skill and so on . Why do people always do this lol

Despite what your mother told you, your opinion can be wrong. You telling Mythic raiders that they should conform to how you feel loot should be distributed is equivalent to an eighth grader who built his first rocket at school telling NASA how they should build their rockets.

My opinion may be wrong in your eyes because after all it is an opinion everyone can have diffrent opinions and thats fine you dont have to agree but being hostile will get you nowhere yet you still do it .
