For real. I once timed a cutscene and it was something like 24 or 34 minutes long. I never logged on again, lol.

It’s a valid complaint.
I came close to skipping several Endwalker cutscenes but sucked it up.
It’d be pretty easy for someone that isn’t into JRPG or Anime storylines and tropes to be bored by the story.

Some of the best movies have boring parts as well. 
Doesn’t mean your going to out right skip the movies entirely because of them, does it?
You may have a point, but IMO why are you playing a RPG if your going to complain about the Story and it’s cutscenes. And if it’s genuinely boring to you, easy answer.
Don’t play it. 
I get that, but from the replies of this post. I would be surprised if many have even gotten past ARR not to mention it’s dragged out starting of the game. Complaining about cutscenes…
