Like I said;
I just say go and enjoy both!
WoW brings a ton of value that I donāt see in FFXIV; significantly better open world design, powerful addon integration and ability to edit the UI while keeping the game safe from being hacked, a competitive community and actually relatively fewer company white knights compared to FFXIV. There isnāt 20 million different storylines to do to unlock a profession.
What I enjoy about FFXIV; community is incredibly nice and the game is designed to reward players to help new/other players do. There isnāt as much censorship in the ingame words as you might imagine with how cute the characters look (e.g if you are a female character there are plot lines in which you are called the b word - which I mean makes sense if youāre trying to kill someone no?) I also like the skimpy mogs and being able to make my character look pretty awesome.
