Played the free trial and uninstalled after 5 minutes. Sure, wow has its problems but no mmo will ever outrule it. If anything, it would be at the hand of these “devs” and i use that very loosely.
Ff14 is just garbage.

How do all these people even download it? When I tried to make an account, it told me I had an incorrect password before even telling them what password I wanted to use. If they update their website, please ping me and I might give it another shot. For right now, I am confused bamboozled.

That usually means that an account tied to to your email already exists. Did you make one already and forget? Or someone else is using your email. Try logging in normally and using the password recovery option.

Imagine judging a game by 5mins of gameplay. It’s like reading the first page of book and saying “this book is terrible”.
At least my 2 FF14 friends gave wow a chance close to lvl 20 before quitting. OP is too blinded by wow addictiveness to enjoy it, also going in with wow mindset.

I mean we all know you can’t properly judge an mmorpg with any less than a couple hundred hours.
Imagine trying to judge wow off your experience in westfall.
I tried ffxiv, few jobs to max, it was ok… a polished product. Good story telling.
It just wasn’t for me, after that I installed wow for the first time in 5 years and we back baby!

Have a feeling allot FF fans trying to advertise the game on the wow forums, I checked out FF wasn’t impressed, watched a few of the boss fights not impressed either with those, wow is a unique prettier world then FF. (imho)

Never played it but I hear from the (I assume) unbiased posters that FF is more about the story than wow is. Don’t know if true, could be wrong, but it would explain why some people love it and others don’t.

That is true. WarCraft used to be about the story once upon a time, but that’s long been sent out the window.
Yo, I can tell you one (two actually) things I know I don’t like about FF without even playing it lol.
1: Spell Effects, I turn the ones in wow down as far as I can and FF seems to turn theirs to 100
2. FF doesn’t have addons, nowhere remotely even close to the amount wow has. I think they have 1 which is a dps meter but nothing else
