Ok I thought it was just me lol. I’m only leveling right now but holy crap, like 1 shotting everything (granted I’m Ilvl 520 at lvl 70. Saw a priest struggling to kill like 5 or 6 mobs and I just ran over and Brutal Slash and they all died lol.

Oh? Here I assumed he meant in pvp, because in PvE feral isn’t remotely overpowered. If you are talking about low 70s leveling…lol, everyone is OP at that point.

Get to 80, Feral is nothing special.

I can count on one hand the number of pulls I had where I actually went from 0 CP to finisher while leveling. Mobs usually fell over after a couple builders. There were more times where I had Ravage and 5CP/Apex waiting for my next pull, and I 1-shot the poor unsuspecting mob, than I put more than 3 globals into any given pull.

Yeah I was geared to the teeth at 70, but being level 78 in leveling gear I still had this experience. If I were on a burst spec, I could at least understand that. Being a ramp spec that doesn’t need to ramp at all was… odd.

who you calling animals? you’re a orc just as much or more of a animal then us ferals.

Here’s the thing;

Feral could EASILY be a top PVE spec if predator returned.

Yeah this must be a PvP post, because they are upper mid in PvE. Or maybe they were looking at levelling dungeons with the busted scaling.

as hilarious as it would be im pretty sure that would make feral meta for the damage alone. i do wish we sped up the energy regen by like 15-20% but thats just because i dont like having to wait for energy to pool so i can use abilities. the specs if nothing else feels fun which is nice since the hero specs are lackluster

I played bear only, decided to run some quests on feral… not impressed enough at ilvl 576…

Please explain how! I just started playing Feral on an 80 alt, and it is by far the weakest class I have ever played. Super weak damage, super weak healing, super squishy… Someone, please explain to me how to play it, because I don’t understand how it is even allowed to be it’s own class, let alone too powerful of a class…

At this point I’ll play every Druid Spec but Feral.

Yeah but the only thing holding feral back in PVE is the energy issues. Damage alone its one of the HIGHEST in the game right now, but having to spend so much time resetting dots is painful.

I’m personally of a mind to never play COL&D because of it, just frees up your time for more damage.

I also saw some talk from better ferals than myself to not even go down into Bloodtalons/frenzy path because of the energy issues. Probably makes 1min convoke and what not superior?

Dot builds for wildstalker, bite builds for Claw. The playstyle hasn’t changed at all, and feral has some of the highest numbers in the game right now.

This changes fast…you are just outgearing the content wildly.

New expc at starting lvl is tuned around green gear from that new expac.

Comming in with mythic raid gear and claiming a spec is broken op at lvl70 is just stupid!

Not how that works. The extra ticks from our multiple DoTs > 1 extra CP generator ability. And waiting on Energy its not like it gets you that many extra Finishers in X amount of time anyway.

it does feel bad having low energy combined with col&d. i just spend 90% of the time putting bleeds up and the other 10% im able to bite. like for dragonflight when we had the energy to not make it a problem col&d was nice but now it feels so counter to fun

This math doesn’t always work like this. There’s so much downtime in between builders after replacing dots that it’s not necessarily worth it.

This isn’t like new thinking either for TWW. Quite a few ferals have been forgoing circle in favour of other things. It’s all just a matter of testing.

I want to believe you, but I just don’t believe you. What DPS are you putting right now? What’s your rotation? I’d like to try to replicate this awesomeness you speak of.

But it does. You can easily Sim it if youd like to see.

Changing out of CoLD is more for feeling than numbers sake. And theres nothing wrong with that.

CoLD gains a lot more traction in AoE scenarios as well. Dropping CoLD may be a DPS increase if say like you took Guidance for a 1 minute Convoke in a 1 or 2 minute ST fight

If were talking about pvp here. Feral is so squishey in a structured environment. Higher end arenas or even rbgs team know to go for them first, they just flop over in a stun. They are strong yes, broken, no.
