Do you use this on every pull? I am realizing that none of the guides I am seeing really mention this spell, even though it seems like it should have a 100% uptime to help your healer.
In a 5 man, probably likely for you to use to help decrease incoming damage. The damage is already pretty low, so if you outgear it, it’s not strictly necessary.
In a 25man raid, you likely have a warrior or ret paladin that can bring some AP debuff.
A warrior’s Demo shout is a few AP points better, so it will overwrite your roar anyways.
Well for raiding you need the debuff, but that depends on your co-tank. If it is a pally, you most likely don’t need it unless you’re tanking different mobs. If it is a DK, then you need to keep demo up.
As mentioned, a prot pally will probably have vindication up at all times which will overwrite and prot pallys are the most popular tanks. If you have no source of AP debuff on the boss, then yes, 100% uptime of demo roar.
It’s really not a huge debuff.
Ever 25m raiding, paladins auto apply it to boss.
In dungeons, honestly, it’s good for leveling. But not something you must do every pull.
