If prowling reduces movement speed by 30%, and Feral Swiftness talent increases speed in cat form by 30%, then why in cat form, prowling do I only move at 91%? Before anyone says it’s not true what it says for movement speed in character pane, I’ve tested it with my friends. Prowling as cat is definitely slower than it should be.
its not -30% and +30%, its x70% and x130%, which results in 91%
Still confused why people run faster than I do with no speed buffs.
because 91% is less than 100%. And most classes are actually running at either 108% with a boot enchant, 115% with talents or 130-200% with active skills.
And how is it x70 and x130? Normal speed is 100%, add Feral Swiftness it = 130%, prowl says reduced by 30%, I’m at 130% normal, prowl goes down to 91%? It makes zero sense to me. Also, if you take away Feral Swiftness talent points, it’s 70% during prowling. So somehow, Feral Swiftness only gives you a 21% boost during prowling?
Do the math.
30% of 130 isn’t 30.
What is 30% of 70?
