Apparently so much feral stacking has taken over the game that they are the least played main spec class even under enhancement shaman. I repeat, there are less ferals than enhancement shamans.
The most Feral cat druids I’ve seen in one place was when I invited a bunch of them to a dungeon for the sole purpose of doing it for the meme. I’ve legit never seen more than one other in a raid at any level of content in all of Classic and Retail, both with random groups even guild runs.
Cat being an incredibly minor and niche specialization for a group of players is like, consistent across all time for WoW.

It had a small hay day end of sl. BUt…that would not be full feral. It was feral with guardian talent taken lol. Form weaving , covenant power, and tier.
it took off in even rated pvp like a champ really.
Not a myth and is now def going to happen at some point
They always whine until they get their changes. Every other class should whine for a buff too at this point.

Was the 5% dmg reduction with the omen of clarity glyph reverted?
It’s more of a result of people went into the druid discord the second the nerf happened to rub it in and gloat that Feral got nerfed. People are very defensive atm because of that and I think its quite justified that Feral players are feeling this way - though not justified in the targeted harassment that some did towards Zirene.
All i’ve learned from this nerf and revert is the classic playerbase is absolutely deplorable and are acting in the exact fashion that led to the devs never talking to us in the first place and I am not specifically talking about Ferals. You’re sitting here harassing people with ad hominem. You’re just as bad.
