This would be nice. I would also like a vanish type move so if tanks keep chain pulling I can go back into stealth for the next group. That initial stun on rake is so good in 5mans but often we cant use it
Absolutely agree. Feral should be able to “escape” and prowl again to upkeep the rake dps
So long as you do not engage with the next pack pulled, you can re-enter stealth when the last of the mobs you’re initially engaged with dies.
This is true. Doesn’t always work tho. i’d say 80% of the time it doesn’t work. Tanks will just keep stringing along dying mobs to the next pack and locks us in combat

Maybe something where you leap to the target location within 20 yards and vanish. Like a cat pouncing behind a bush because they hear something lol

But i believe they always wanted druids abilities to be “weaker” versions of their conterparts. Since they can do everything they should not be as good in each specific role

Moonkin weaker than arcane mage
Resto weaker than priest
Where druid shines is the ability to adapt

That used to be the case back in the early days of the game (vanilla > wrath and maybe a bit beyond). It was called the hybrid tax, where since druids could do everything, they didn’t want druids to be able to do as much dps as other classes.
They abandoned that a long time ago though and now any class should, in theory, have the same ability to do a role. Of course perfect balance is impossible overall but you get my point.
It just makes no sense that druid prowl is on a longer cooldown. It’s just a quality of life change that would help a lot.
I agree. Especially with the game how it is nowadays. Feral used to just be a cheap rogue knockoff, but it can stand on its own 2 feet (or four, in this case) nowadays. No reason not to give them the same CD on stealth as rogues.
Plus this is just an ability to go stealth, but quicker. Wouldn’t impact a rogue whatsoever
druid is the only class left with the hybrid tax but that seems more due to nobody wanting to work on us.

which is typically the case for a class like druid. jack of all, master of none etc.
Which is also why i’m fine with the CD for our stealth compared to rogue, Druid has plenty of benefits, its fair that THE stealth class would have a shorter cd than ours. If anything Druids should be lucky (and thankful) they included the ability for us to 24/7 like rogue to begin with.
Read more into the thread about people compromising at 4 second for ours. I’m gucci with that. so long as theres a difference, i think it adds to the notion of there being pros & cons of/to what you play, lol.

Hot take for Druid survivability:
Guardian Form should have more armor.
Balance - its own version of Brambles (like the WoD Mage Flameglow talent)
Feral - passive dodge
Resto - a passive self-heal or also some evasion mechanic.
There was an ability that Feral Druids had called, Play Dead. And it worked like hunters feign death. It was great and very short lived. Hunters and Rogues complained and they took it away of course. Druids can’t have anything nice.
