Feral druids need some serious love to their mana pools. They basically have no utility because they can’t afford it. Just transforming into cat form alone costs over 25% of thier total mana unless your stacking int. leave cat form and cast 2 heals and you run the potential of not being able to reenter cat form. On top of that having 0 energy once entering cat form so you’re just a sitting duck for a solid 5 seconds. I can’t believe the best cast in all of SOD (hunters) got kings for horde, while the by far worst class in the game is the only one capable of giving Windfury to alliance. and only if you have the proper spec.

so you make your plea to get a buff for druids but have to say something negative about hunters… leave the poof nerfunters out of your request.
No one is stopping you form making a hunter, go for it - see how “wonderful” that class is now…

Cat form at level 25 is rough. Many classes/specs don’t really come into their own until later levels. Further down the line, it will correct itself. I’m not really sure why Blizz settled on level 25 to cap, when level 30 would have been a lot better for a lot of classes.

Yeah that’s the cost of being feral. You shouldn’t be able to endlessly shift out of form to break CC for free and heal for free.
There are talents and items for that in the game already.
You do realize that druids are out damaging hunters in raids spamming only mangle and WF is the best dps buff in the game? Mangle alone is pulling over 80dps. There isn’t a single hunter active ability that does over 5 dps right now.

Jesus there’s more to the game than raiding guys. Everytime anyone has criticism about a class the first thing everyone jumps in on is “Well in BFD they’re pulling XYZ”
If this guy is shifting out of cat form, casting some heals, and worried about not being able to shift back into cat form, then I think it’s pretty clear that he’s talking about the overall health of the toon and not its performance in a raid.

Yeah in pvp it seems like the best overall method of winning a 1v1 is sunfire + starsurge spam and running away as a cat. Tried running mangle but you are so fragile that melee will just clap you down with overwhelming damage extremely fast, killing a priest is borderline impossible as well as warlock, killing a hunter and mage is pretty doable with either build. Low mana pools definitely feels bad, but it feels way worse on mage rn imo.
You don’t see how it could be a problem to give druids the abilities to freely shift, making them immune to all CC and giving them unlimited mana to heal with?
I’m not really sure why your parallel is, either they have no mana or they have unlimited mana.
Not really. Pvp isn’t really about the 1v1 anyway, its about how you do as a group, and your token druid is useful enough.
Cat is really powerful and it’s mana cost is a weakness of the class. It doesn’t need a buff. Druids are so very powerful that they really don’t need additional love at this point. Every spec is a powerhouse.
If cat’s mana was buffed to not be a problem cat druids would have no weaknesses. That wouldn’t be fair
The weakness is going out of cat form. Since the dawn of time the name of the game when fighting a druid is “Stun it when it shifts out”
I guess the only acceptable criticism on these forums are “Nerf Hunters”
My point is if you open up the druid feral talent tree you would realize there are already talents which reduce the cost of shapeshifting and buffing them now would make them overpowered at 60.
They said they are okay making weekly class changes. We can make changes now without worrying about if they’re a problem later
