How can you say that by increasing mana a little bit for ferals would make them OP at 60 and then in another thread say this?
The only weekly class changes we get are nerfs to hunters, the weakest dps class in the game that doesn’t even have a raid slot at 60.
If you knew anything about hunters then you would know that at 60 they’re less than 50% the dps of a rogue and warrior. A 100% bonus is to make them at parity with the other classes, and that rune requires them to delete their pet. The pet alone is 70% of a hunters dps because none of their abilities do more than 2 dps.
You’re too worried about level 60. We don’t know what 60 is going to look like in Season of Discovery. We’ve gotten big class changes to druid priest hunter and shaman so far. Hunter has had the most but that doesn’t mean they’re the only ones.
Buy mana pots and drink them.
You have no idea what level 60 is going to look like in Season of Discovery. As of right now, even after the nerfs, Hunters are outperforming Warriors.
We have 20 years of classic era data, and a team that said they’re not modifying the core class / talents. There are only 2 hunter abilities which are based off agility/weapon damage, Aimed shot and multishot. The new abilities they added were nerfed so hard they do no damage. Saber strike pulls 80 dps. Chimera shot does 5.
a lot of low brow looking for one variable answer andys up in here
"DA DPS NUMBA IS LOWA DEN DA UDDER CLASS DPS NUMBA IN DA RAID SO MY CLASS NO GUD!
My druid is wild growth healing the raid while destroying people with star surge. The core classes have already been changed.
SoD would be a lot more tolerable if the #nochanges crowd just stayed in era.
havent seen a single #nochanges post regarding SoD
stay mad kid
Feral is honestly doing just fine. Yes, level 25 cap has its frustrations (really should’ve been 30), one of which is the obscenely low mana pool for everyone, but that’ll be better in a month or two when the cap is 40 and druids can spec into Natural Shapeshifter.
The devs have all their work left to do with Druid. The main issue this class has in era is efficiency. Nothing they have added truly changes that dynamic in a substantial way.
They need to rework both Omen of Clarity and Fury of Stormrage - Make omen proc off of spell casts and make FoS “12% chance to make your next spell instant cast” so it can be damage or healing
then he needs more “of the Gorilla/Falcon/Boar/Wolf” gear to get more Int and Spirit to do more hybrid shenanigans.
As a side note, why wouldn’t shapeshifting have a big mana cost. Transforming into an entire animal (and removing all roots and snares) thematically should be an expensive technique to perform.
Because the basic functionality of the class shouldn’t be handicapped by too large a resource cost.
I’m honestly kinda glad mangle isn’t the pvp meta for cats, sunfire makes it feel less like a discount rogue.
Spec into Furor then go balance for Omen of Clarity and you will be golden, you should not have a single point in the feral tree at this level as a cat dps druid.
What we DO need however is some runes geared towards bears similar to what warriors got for rage generation and we need it bad. We simply do not have the rage generation to keep up with threat against all these burst damage runes from other classes in dungeons anymore.
Guessing a gear issue. Stop stacking dps only gear. Grab some pieces with Int/Stam on them. Belt, bracers, Shoulders. Then throw a few points in Furor. Have to make due with what you have.
And a side note. You wanna bring up hunters? Be glad you don’t have to deal with Avengers Shield on your Druid.
Or maybe you have a Horde alt Druid. I dunno…
Whatever.
C’mon, we’re better than this. Let’s not start acting like hunters
