Well it wasn’t, plus its common knowledge Moist is carried in GDKP’s. So having no logs at all is still better than logs of being carried.

Last i checked GDKPs are runs where people bid on gear with gold right? So how can someone be carried if they are doing the fights and winning bids. Last i checked people who wanted to be carried bought ticket runs and didnt do gdkps.
You don’t have to pay a copper, and everyone gets a cut at the end.
You only pay for the gear, not the run.

Well not sure what GDKPs you go to. But if you dont particpate like bid on the auctions you dont get a cut.
I’ve got 2 guildies that are in GDKP’s, thats how they make their gold, they already have the gear.

Well thats great isnt this the last couple days of Firelands and then Dragon soul launches right? So will your guildies be raiding with the guild and getting geared up then doing GDKPs to make gold? and then swapping to an alt to gear up again with the guild on there alt? or will they be running the GDKPs and buying gear then continuing to run those GDKPS to get gold back that they spent?
P4 is 6 months, of course they’d gear their alts first before going back to the GDKPs. They only take their alts, not their mains.
So what your saying is that your guild carrys these players to full bis then they do guild runs on there alts and get carried again. So they can go do GDKPs and get paid? You dont see the problem in this? You talk about moist going to a GDKP and buying gear. Call that a carry but then think its ok for guildies to get carried by the guild after they get there mains geared. Instead of continuing to help the guildies. that sure seems really selfish.
Maybe moist raids on other toons and this is his an alt that he runs in GDKPs kind of like what your guildies are doing but theyre doing the opposite way.
I didn’t say moist went to GDKP’s to buy gear, I said moist goes to them for carries.
As for guildies being carried? Who said they were being carried.
They had raided with us in Firelands every week, who aren’t they helping?

Well if they get there mains fully geared then jump on there alt to get that toon geared that is 100% a carry.
Theyre not helping the raid since they are taking there geared toon to a GDKP to get gold to benifit themselves and jumping on an alt to get carried in a guild run. So while they did help with prog and killing bosses they seem to not care about helping the raid/guild after they get there main geared. Instead they want to bring an alt to get carried by the guild.
It’s Whitemane, people raid in different guilds on their alts, I even do.
Some of those guilds even have multiple teams.
Some of those guilds even convert their own raid to a GDKP midway to start making gold once they have everything from the raid they need.
Do you not see how you are fighting against what they said but are actually agreeing with them?
Agreeing with who? My guildies are the ones carrying people, not being carried. They help run these GDKP’s.
You guildies are leaving the guild runs to carry people in a GDKP then having the guild carry there alts.
I just raided with them 3 days ago, none of them have left.
You just said they did. You said your guildies raid on there mains in a GDKPs to get paid to carry people. I asked how they got the gear and you said in guild raids. dont try and back track now.
No, I said they do the GDKP’s on their alts.
Their alts are main toons in the other guilds they are in, eventually people take a break until next tier which frees up spots, those raids get converted to GDKP’s since they now have room for buyers.
Instead of just selling runs, they do GDKP’s.
See that was what i was trying to figure out when i asked the question the first time thank you for clarifying.
But to my understanding, the buyers don’t need to really do anything special in these raids, since their gold is the only purpose of those runs. Hence carried.
A ticket run is a carry a GDKP is not, There are alot of GDKP runs where the group does prog together actually 99% of GDKPs are not 13/13H or 7/7H Week 1 There might be a few that go 8/8H week 1 but most will probably start at like doing 1/8 - 4/8H week one.
