When you think about it though, thats pretty sexist against men. This thread is sort of painting all men is creeps and pervs. Most really aren’t like this.

Exactly! It’s not fair to categorize all men as creepers even if you ran into a bad one or two. That’s just ridiculous.

I’m a girl too and some guys really can become vulgar once they know. This is why I refuse to talk on discord.

Are you just jumping on disc with randos tho? Can see that being a little more likely, as more normal people don’t usually hit you with a disc link immediately.
If so, why on freakin’ earth would you join? If not, are these friends? Guildies? I just don’t see how this is supposed to be so common place. I am female, have a daughter, have female friends and guildies…none of which have this problem. I more frequently play with men than women because that’s just the way it is…I’ve never had a single person get creepy on discord. Maybe be more selective with the random invites?
You have to take some responsibility for yourself.
As a male player that never asks or expects anything from any other player regardless of gender, my experience with female players is they tend to be extremely self-important and surround themselves with a group of dedicated simps that elevate them on a pedestal.

Well,you don’t need to be on discord to know that create any female toon and you’ll experience it which actually shocked me the first time i came across this type of behavior.

All my toons have always been female.
That’s about as fair as most of this thread.
As someone who otherwise fits your initial description of yourself, my experience with women in this game is that 90%+ of them are married with children, are fairly clear about that, and so generally get left alone with regards to creeping.

Everyone knows there are no women on the internet. Just men and grills. Big ol manly summer cookout. I think this is what they mean when they say sausage party.

It is creepy. One of my friends has repeatedly dealt with men that insist on making innuendo’s and advances to her. Usually as a direct result of her voicing, the last of which was a Guild Master that ended up with us all leaving that guild. He had some weird fetish that he would like to privately send her messages. I told her to stop being polite and nice, but it is not in her nature. For awhile she stopped playing because of this guys poor behavior.
Just remember, boys are disadvantaged because their hormones make them stupid. That isn’t an excuse by any means, it is justification to walk away and flag that person. There are more people that will support you than will agree with allowing poor behavior to continue. There is no cure for this, it is a result of bad parenting and social ineptitude. Your resilience is your armor, and the people that need you to heal appreciate it!
Hopefully if enough people frown upon this kind of repeated offenses, and walk away from jerks. That guy might learn, but it is highly unlikely. It is rather idiotic and desperate to hit on anyone in a game that you do not know personally in reality - this isn’t a movie, and there are more ‘Chucks’ out there than Art3mis.

See this is what I’m talking about! Oh and since you look a tad newer around here I suggest seeing an engineer in Ironforge like I did. You get this cool runic rod with a spring and trigger combo device that you just aim and press the trigger. Makes those tall folk jump to high heaven and when they come crashing back down you’ve already passed where they were standing. Great combo item to go with the runic nut cracker boots…hic!

Because … GUYS AREN’T SUPER COMPETITIVE AGAINST EACH OTHER.
