3 Mounts…you mean 3 Battle Pets…don’t you.
Several theories still floating around for 9. With not much movement forwards.
But levelling stones still cost pet battle coins, so you have to pet battle to get those coins in the first place. (Just playing devil’s advocate, I have nothing against pet battling myself. I’m enjoying collecting all the different pets.)

Not really many of the daily pet battles you do give you leveling stones …there is the one called Fel stone its gives 5 levels to a pet now…others that give 1 level…then there is the grand daddy one that give 25 but that one is rare getting from a quest …most times you have to buy that one…I have 1000’s of leveling stones on my bank alt I mean 1,000’s…I also have over 43,000+ Pet Charms to buy pets and stones with …when I get a new lvl 1 Pet I don’t have to go out and level it with battling …I just stone it rare if I have too and lvl stone it too 25…I have 1,753 Unique Battle pets all rare and level 25.

This pet battle is such a nothing burger. I didn’t have two of the pets - super easy to obtain. Then if you have enough pet charms you can 25 (and rare) these pets with no effort.
The battle in the guide is straight forward and just worked for me first time. Otherwise some RNG might mean you do it twice.
I suggest doing it today because Jeremy is hanging at the Darkmoon Faire.

True. But they aren’t that hard to get compared with getting some of those secret pets and leveling them the old fashioned way.
I did get this step done (the only three eligible pets I had were the wicker pup, terky, and spyragos). It was annoying and took many, many battles. Even so, I wouldn’t say this was the worst of the steps required for the mount. What worries me is that there are still four of the pillars yet to be solved (last I knew). No idea how horrible those are going to be to complete.

You can farm the legion/shadowlands follower quests to get the pet tokens and just buy the boosts for the 3 pets. Not really that big of a deal.
Or you know, you could always just grit your teeth and level them yourself. I’ve personally never gotten a lvl 25 pet the traditional way, but it can’t be more than a couple hours to battle them to 25

Same. Gives me creepy Micheal Vick vibes. I did try a couple out when they were added back in Mop I guess it was, just to see what they were about, but quickly lost interest in them.
Exactly. You still have to pet battle to get the stones, or to get the coins to buy the stones. So for someone who doesn’t want to pet battle at all, neither of those options are do-able? (Still playing devil’s advocate.)
Since the time the OP made this thread, they could have obtained at least a dozen of the so called “secret” pets and leveled them to 25 by now.
