"Feels Like the First Time" quest broken

Seems like it may be specifically a pandaren issue, when the quest ports me back to my starter zone, the cutscene freezes and then it ports me to Stormwind, locked in place.

Tried multiple times after relogging to return and go again, same result each time.

Edit: Found a workaround by quickly skipping the cutscene before it freezes, it then ported me to Stormwind, stunned me, then returned me to the quest area and awarded completion.

Had the same issue, also on a pandaren, trying your work around though.

Just had the exact same issue as Pandaren as well.

I relogged at the gate, logged in and waited and it fixed itself lmao…

Same thing happened to my pandaren, and after I reported this bug in beta a few times too. Pandathicc’s workaround did work though so all is good.

I think I know what it is. Pandaren are the only race that don’t start as Alliance OR Horde, so some string of code is likely checking what faction you’re in to see if the NPCs are aggressive or not… and since Pandaren start out neither it makes it have a fit and kicks you to Orgrimmar or Stormwind.

Can confirm though, that fix DOES work!

Undead here. The quest teleports me to Deathknell but dude never comes to find me.

same issue as panda… tried multiple times…it also changes my damn hearth stone location to elwyn forest as a panda. crazy. Ill try this workaround though

Experiencing the same issue on my panda. Tried multiple times without addons, and it always bugs, freezes me in Orgrimmar, and resets my hearthstone.

Can we get an update blizzard… literally can’t even play the game / do end game content because of a bug that should’ve been resolved in beta…

Horde troll warlock here. Teleported me to echo isles and Andante is not spawning. Haven’t found a work-around yet…

  1. Hey, I found a fix for my Horde Undead character - As horde on the step: “Personal timeline restored” all you have to do is fly to /way Northern Barrens 47.47 62.63

Found a fix as a troll:

  • Cutscene seems to trigger if you go to the Valley of Trials, where Orc characters spawn in.

Edit: Some additional information that I thought would be helpful for Blizz:

  • My hunter was created prior to Cataclysm (i.e. when trolls started in Valley of Trials and not Sen’jin village). The cutscene that played for me was the Orc one
  • A guildy of mine, who is also a troll, created his character post-Cataclysm. He didn’t run into this issue.
  • I’m not entirely sure, but for Undead it seems like the trigger point is the default Horde graveyard
