I found out about Warcraft from a 10,000 Games 2 disc game demo set when i was like 9. I purchased Warcraft 1 on a 3.5 floppy. Diablo 1 day 1. Warcraft 2 day 1. Starcraft day 1. Beyond the Dark Portal day 1. Etc etc etc etc.
I have gotten access to two betas. Wings of Liberty and BFA.

I’d like a beta invite to get a jumpstart on updating a small addon I wrote, but we’ll have pre-patch for that too.
Not going to lose any sleep over beta invites, because its only for testing, no progress retained.
You may have one without realizing it. I was never invited or informed I was given access but eventually noticed it listed on the client. Their communication has gotten so bad they can’t be bothered to tell you that you have access to it. I doubt I’ll do much with it now though because I already did the testing I wanted on warmane. As usual, they are too little too late. I wasn’t going to wait months and months without any prior word that I would even get access.

Things you can do to help get into betas:
lmao mate i been playin since launch of Vanilla back in 04, bought several collectors editions, been subbed probably 80% of the last 16 or so years ( gotta take breaks and skipped wod say for the first month) thing is it dont matter how much money you are spending, or how brand “loyal” you’ve been its literally random. no one gets favorite picks say for the actual friends and family of the dev team. so try not to cry a river.
oop forgot to mention streamers but we all know thats literally their free marketing. why pay for youtube ads when streamers get it out there for the most part.

as of 1 hour ago I received my beta invitation.
I promise, I shall test all the things I am capable of, and report all bugs I encounter, whether blizzard fixes and addresses them, well that is another story.
That’s too bad you don’t get the Wrath beta invite yet, hopefully soon! I usually get them (since the TBC original beta) although not in the “streamer wave” but fairly quickly. It’s supposed to be random. Maybe my reporting bugs in the past or /played or my frequently being an officer or GM in raiding guilds helps. Who knows. It would be annoying if I were super eager and never got the invites while others did.
The only reason I’d like beta access is so that I could mess around on a few of my toons I’m not sure which to level first and main. I barely played during wrath back in the day, so I really don’t know what I’m going to enjoy. Watching YouTube videos just doesn’t help me make up my mind. I’d like to really get a feel for each one, even if it’s just leveling.
I don’t really see what the big deal is. It’s a beta for a MMO, meaning you lose all progress, it’s just for testing purposes and it’s content that you have already played in the past.
No shade, I just don’t really understand why people are bugging about not getting into the beta for the previously mentioned reasons.
