I just want to know how many BG’s you lost that where not same faction or premade vs won. and how much honor did you gain from one of those losing ones. I did state sorry if you’re on a PVE or RP server as well. but whitemane and Fairbanks high pop servers is where my point of view is coming from.

Why are you being intentionally dishonest by insinuating that only horde players complain and that alliance wouldn’t do the exact same thing in their situation?

honestly, i wish i had kept track of more specifics, but all but 2-3 losses were vs premades, horde and ally. i solo queue, and probably more times than not, i was dawning the ally mask. i believe the highest honor i remember seeing was 164ish with a loss, most being sub100s.
i did say i was on a pvp server, the rp is regardless. if i remember that site’s numbers for our server, we have roughly 5-8k total players. it’s been a good community for the most part, with alliance doing a lot of the early camping at the start of phases.
I will say I hated this at first but I’m happy you guys fixed the cross coms. I very likely wasn’t going to play this if I had to get death threats from 12 year olds for pvping. I mean not that I take them seriously but would change the tone of PVP a lot and open an endless toxic dialogue that I wouldn’t have been happy with. Keep that garbage atmosphere in XBOX live.
Please fix the masks tho, I know there are much larger issues but some of us really hate them. At least make it optional, since some people like it? A toggle-able option in the settings would be great, toggle off and you don’t see them at all.

So I am totally against this change to battlegrounds, but it is too late to get this reverted I am sure.
I wish Blizzard had tried faction transfers to Alliance only and tried to solve the problem that way first, or make it better while also helping population issues, but whatever, this has happened.
I would like to suggest, if blizzard is attempting to make this something like a training exercise, why not put more effort in than this mask idea.
Have players kneel like after losing a duel and teleporting to graveyard and stealth(that can not be seen even when on top of them) until the timer is up.
Maybe something like a hearth flash when they teleport.
Still thing it was a huge mistake not trying faction change instead of this. Alliance pop issues are only going to get worse, and the nuclear option was used to fix a horde problem when there was something that could have been done to solve both problems.

The change is so much better. I’ve been doing bgs all day and having fun instead of maybe doing 1 a night cuz its a 2 hour queue. Everyone I’ve talked to in bg’s is loving the change too. Please keep it blizz

This thread was obviously intended to be an echo chamber. Anything alliance can contribute will not be from this test phase. There is no short term side effect for alliance. The long term is a different story.
Some of us stuck around and watched alliance die off over time the first time. Of course we’d like to not see history repeat itself.

For people who only enjoy PVP this is a godsend that makes them not quit, which would be a real shame.
I feel like I can actually play BGs now and it opens back up another aspect of the game.

0 incentive to play alliance now. Whilst this is a quick band aid fix for Horde BG queue times (which they totally new rolling their faction with the superior racial), the long term effect will be massive population imbalances and the inability for alliance to exist on wpvp. Faction change would have been a better option - would have given the horde crying murder their instant queues and fixed population imbalance in the process.
