Literally 0 downsides. Everyone gets fast queues, everyone can enjoy PvP if that’s what they like, and no more painful hour-long queues for those just looking to farm a couple pieces for PvE.

Any game can be min/maxed, even Monopoly. When the playerbase decides to screw the pooch by doing it, it isn’t Daddy Blizzard’s problem to fix with a bunch of slippery slope changes.
Do you see Monopoly changing their rules once math decided that Jail is the most used space on the board?

Well, if reading comprehension actually worked on the boards here, and considering the fact that these are the only boards where reading comprehension doesn’t work, you would understand that it was a min/max analogy.

The people complaining about this change weren’t sitting in hour long queues before.
PvP and arena are about half of this game, if the queues dont fix and you guys dont implement this change then it’s pretty impossible to enjoy. Sitting in queues for an hour is literally miserable. I ranked in classic when queues were 12-23 minutes and that was tolerable, but 45-70 minute queues make it impossible to hop on and play a few games and get anywhere.
You can’t queue with your friends when the queues take that long.
I wont be pvping if this change isnt implemented tbh. I don’t care about the premades, that’s always been an aspect of the game. I just don’t want to sit in queues for hours. It’s unplayable. If the only thing you do is PvP it’s an hour to play the game - just not fun.

I don’t $15 a month for 1 hour + queue times and for that reason I have cancelled both of my accounts until Horde vs Horde is brought back.
I would recommend the rest of the Horde players join me. That will make it clear to Blizzard.
Horde queue times are back to being borderline unplayable. 1+ hour queues for certain battlegrounds, minimum queue time 20+ minutes. Being unable to play the game that we pay for each month is seriously troubling.

Please bring back the battleground Qs. Why are you limiting a certain aspect of the game that obviously lots of people want to play. We don’t care if it’s horde vs horde or vs alliance. What we care about is playing certain aspects of the game that we like.
BRING BACK INSTANT QUEUES OR MY FRIENDS AND I WILL BE UNSUBBING.
Do whatever you need to do, I would be perfectly happy with 10-15 min ques, but 30-60 is ridiculous
we had these pvp bg que times 15 years ago… we just deal with it for the love of the game. we loved the game did not wanna change anything. game still progressed.
