reduce honor and mark costs of PVP items for horde, SIMPLE FIX. Or increase our h onor gains x2/x3 and mark gains
30min-1hr 30mins que times is too much, the test was great, same faction pvp was fine. up to 5min max ques. Lets just go ahead with it and do a quick fix on a reset tonight so we can actaully pvp again. GOGO

So I really enjoyed the short queue times, I can understand why alliance are a little angry but lets be honest, the queue times were never meant to be one sided. its just a fact that alliance players have always enjoyed pve more than horde.
Ive enjoyed the short queue times so I was able to play casually, Everyone was hooking up object detection/OCR just to get notifications when a bg popped it was that bad.
This change affects the alliance in no way what so ever except preventing ganking/camping to people leveling as we have a better source of honor again.
If you rolled alliance because of the queue times, good for you. but not enough people were doing that due to friends/family on the horde side and its what we have always been.

yes, horde have all the friends and family. help the alliance be with their friends and family by enabling alliance-horde faction transfers. Stolas is 100% right, please listen blizzard

If Horde are going to freak out at the suggestion of giving all Alliance EMFH, how about giving just Alliance Dual Spec?

Do you have a source for this? It’s not just a fact, it’s completely made up conjecture.
What is just a fact though, is that way too many people went horde. That is where your queues are coming from, and they aren’t much longer than they were in vanilla classic btw.

Actually our queues were already garbage in Phase 4/5/6 classic, it just didn’t matter outside of those still ranking.
For real. I asked twice how Alliance Q’s were during the test and no one replied. I assume they just want people to be unhappy lmao.

From what I understand, Alliance players have a very narrow vision of how this game should be played, and they don’t care if the majority of Horde players cannot access this portion of the game because of the queue times.
They think everything revolves around a 15 y/o meta that was kept alive on some shady private servers that nobody has even heard about.
They seem to forget that the biggest chunk of people play the game casually, as most of the playerbase are adults who cannot spend 8h/day playing a game.
So instead of accepting that a quick fix such as HvH would make the game enjoyable for the vast majority of people, they complain because of some abstract concept of the Alliance being destroyed due to population imbalance if it happens, since people will supposedly all quit to follow the racial meta (which is actually only a small fraction of a niche minority).
I really hope Blizzard has the decency to move past those few loud people and actually give the players what they want: fast queues for BGs.
It’s 2021. Every other game out there offers near-instant matchmaking. It’s a complete joke that Horde players have to wait 30+ min to play a single game. No other game on the market does that.

There is nothing preventing alliance from playing the game if this change is kept.

Let people play the game. If queue times remain, people will unsubscribe because they can’t play the game they want to play. If queue times are fixed, then some alliance will unsubscribe because … they’re jealous? Because they don’t have an arbitrary gear advantage? Because they worry that their faction is so unlikable that reasonable queue times are their sole appeal?
Apologies that not everyone can be a no-life degenerate (oh, if I could) to afford the time to level up an alt on the opposing faction just to access a base part of the game that was accessible to both factions in Original TBC. I sincerely have no issue with #somechanges and giving alliance better racial abilities, or increasing their incentives to pvp as well, giving them cheaper honor gear, bonus marks, or whatever… I agree - I don’t particularly care so long as I can play ‘my game’.
As far as game longevity goes? I really only care until wotlk. That’s where Classic ends for me, with the launch of cata. I don’t see faction imbalance becoming too big of an issue by then, save for PvP servers. And, being a horde on a pvp server, I sincerely don’t believe the pvp aspect of these servers worth saving. Give those alliance free transfers if it gets bad enough, either to horde or a server where they can get raids and arena teams.
Edit: Maybe let those zugs kill each other in open world.

Opening up faction transfers from horde > alliance should help with the imbalance.
Also bring back Same-faction battlegrounds.
