it’s not a player made problem, its an inherent game design flaw.

This is so much betetr and not 10% more like 100 times, it goes to show just how little alliance had been participating in pvp. I’m actually getting into fun competitive pug BGs now. Before it was 1 hour+ to either stomp an Alliance pug or insta lose to a sweaty premade. Either way it wasn’t as fun as it is now. The masks are hilarious.

Port the group finder from retail that is used to make arena and rated BG teams.
BGs are super premade intensive now, so if you don’t impose deserter and a short delay, give PUGs a fighting chance to form up. Maybe cross-realm?

My favorite are the voidwalker and Spirit Healer masks. LOL
With queue times being on the lower end with this change…
It’s not out of the question to match same sized teams, when possible.
Queue 5 people, match 5 people
Queue 8 people, match 8 people
So are the queues.
I actually think this is a good change, but if they use it as a a bandaid to not address the overall server/population issue it will work out as a net negative.
Terrible experience. Please revert back to normal and focus on fixing faction imbalance.

If you are going to do this then you need to let us faction change for free…fast bg queues is the only reason to pvp alliance.

Blizzard, please consider these suggestions:
1. Add the LFG tool from retail used for forming Arena and Rated BG groups and allow cross-server grouping. TRY IT FOR A WEEKEND!
Maybe that will alleviate Alliance queue issues? You can’t say “it’s not true to the original” since same faction BGs blows that argument out of the water.
2. Increase honor gain.
Lots of Alliance, and also likely lots of Horde, don’t bother with BGs because the honor gain is too slow. Again, no need to be tied to the original since you are doing same-faction BGs which has never been done in WoW.
3. Force a five-minute wait for same-faction BGs (Horde and Alliance) and add deserter if you drop the queue.
This will prevent TBC BGs from becoming “premade required,” which will just alienate more Horde and Alliance than there are already. The five minute wait is still a huge upgrade for the Horde, especially if you give more bonus honor anyway.

One-way faction transfers would have been a start.

on faerlina, queue times went from over an hour to less than a minute, the games are very intense except when premade groups are aligned with total randoms. Devs should try to matchmake premades more with other premades rather than a total random group of players who stand no chance.

Lots Better than sitting there for 60 minutes, way faster ques makes it nice for people on time constraints to play. Most the time ques were running and might get 1 or two bg’s in 3 hours on horde side. Horde is already way behind honor farming this wont fix that but at least it will give us a chance to get more honor and possibly a piece of gear a week for the people who aren’t full time 40 hours plus a week wow players.

Queues for WSG, AB, and Eots all less than 1 minute. AV queue is also much lower, about 15 minutes as of right now.
This has really renewed my love for the game. It was waning because I just don’t have the time anymore to dedicate to farm the honor gear i need to be competetive in PVP. now i feel like i have the time to play casually and still enjoy myself. THANK YOU!!
