I dont think it will play out like that, im used to blizzard, everything that is hitting too much is going to be nerfed to the ground, double tap will not stay like this
So you will end up with a spec slower, clunkier, harder to play(for the sake of it) that doesn’t reward you because the damage was nerfed to the ground so it doesn’t pay off, on top of sacrificing the pet for those who wanted/needed to play in the contented they wanted
already reported the bug of true shot not working properly with tensile bow and the bug of not being able to summon my own pet
Right. So most but not all of the bugs we know about are helping MM do more damage than we think they should. Do I mind that the bugs are making MM look and feel strong? Nope. Will those be bug fixed before the interactions that are failing to function and are lowering damage be fixed? Probably.
If the spec is tuned to be about the same in performance while increasing in difficulty has it been improved? I’d say no, but design and tuning changes are expected both in the PTR and on live as is always the case. Try to offer good faith suggestions and focus on bringing light to what is providing less benefits than the tooltip suggests if you want MM to be good, whatever your opinion of good is.
No that’s not what it’s like at all. Your character is not running different code than mine. There will be a way to reproduce it or (more likely) you’re doing something wrong.
That is whats like, otherwise people would have the same bug all the time in live.
Good thing is, i dont need to prove anything to you, i tried on my end, and reported the bug, since it wasnt working, they decide if it is or not, you can move along now
A week or so ago I fell through the map in hallowfall. I may never replicate that bug in my life but it happened. Used a glider kit to land on another part of the map thats elevation was lower.
Bugs in wow can be intermittent. I don’t know how but they are. Some folks say the game kicks them out of Solo BGs randomly and subtracts 200 rating, others say they get randomly kicked out of Solo BGs with no penalty(happened to me), usually I’m not kicked out at all. Some people say they are never kicked out of Solo BGs. Who knows why there are different experiences. I just suggest you let Blizzard know if you think you found a bug. Some bugs are repeated consistently, but not all of them.
The fantasy of the Eagle needs work.
Basically go take a look at Quinn from League.
I want to hear Eagle squawks and screeches.
When a target is marked, make it more obvious than a debuff.
Have the eagle fly either from the Hunter, or recalls to the Hunter, after marking / doing something so we can actually see the Eagle in combat.
Pack Leader has the opposite issue. It’s delivering on the theme but the gameplay is still press KC.
You could cast directly through aspect of the turtle and rdruid tranq immunity with trick shots, blade flurry, and the dk death and decay cleave thing until like last expansion. They never even admitted that it was a bug. Someone died to it in the awc and they just fixed it between expansions without saying anything lol.
Mc dc bug and blades edge knock dc is a good example of an intermittent bug that nobody knows how to reproduce consistently and seems to stem from weird networking behavior.
To this day, there are, very, very rare times when i go to zerelek caves manually and fall forever to the center of the earth, needing to a character stuck service. A friend of mine, who played more DF than me, never suffered this
I also got kicked for solo bgs once, a friend of mine was doing x3 with me, and he got kicked before the match started as well.
Other day they fixed a bug that sometimes going trough a portal send you somewhere else, again, i had this bug happening to me, and it never happened to the people i know
It’s always weird people have nothing to cite to what they say, like no evidence to any of it. You say “This is better than X” with no evidence.
Not really, cause you’re spending globals to reduce the cast time… So in reality you’re taking like 1-3 seconds longer to cast an aimed shot??
Further my aimed shots are much faster on live, they’re UNDER a second during trueshot and I don’t even stack haste. If I use rapid fire it’s like .75s in trueshot, and 1.3-1.5 outside of it.
Add to that I’ve had the same pet since November 2004 when the game launched. I dont like BM, I have no desire to play any other class and now logging in makes me feel “Why even bother”.
The difference in your live streamline rapid during trueshot and this is that you’re not dipping way below the gcd cap and wasting global time. Ptr aimed is faster out of trueshot with streamline and it also does considerably more damage than live aimed shot. You’re also never in the circumstance where you have to cast a completely unbuffed aimed shot at full cast time like you are sometimes in live.
Yall need to understand that the live version has the limitations that it has because it is so one dimensional and straightforward. This is more complicated but it has way more potential.
Seems quite lame to me, thus far. When it feels more jank than live, then it already failed. Doubly so because of the removal of actual pets and the FORCED aesthetic of some awful owl
A lot of it depends on things you cannot see or control - such as the server’s ability to track your location and load assets in time. It’s possible to go so fast you pass through terrain before the game has reason to know you’re there … and boom, you’re through the world.
I suspect part of the benefit of skyflight is fixing their code to track where players are in the world and load boundaries well in advance.
No you did not. There is no difference in how fast something casts when you’re at or under the gcd cap because you can’t do anything else anyway. Outside of trueshot all of your aimed shots are faster than live outside of trueshot. Made up numbers don’t count.
“New” marks feels pretty terrible to play.
Slower Aimed shot makes it feel like ‘they’ never want you to press that button without a proc of some kind (especially with how much of a wet noodle it is outside of those procs). That means you’ll be spending 80% of your time in a sort of conservation mode.
The pseudo pet just simply doesn’t exist.
Open world stuff as marks is just extremely tedious now.
Survival:
Choice node for Butchery/Flanking strike feels odd, since there’s no more Carve and I’ve just gotten so used to having that ‘filler’ button over the years when I do play Survival.
Changes to Leader are interesting, but as others have said we need more control over which pets get called. Ideally we should be able to select pets from our own stable to fill these spots; Why would Rexar loan us his most trusted companions, especially when we have our own.
Who at blizz has a hate-on for Player agency with pets and why?
Give marks back their pets.
Let players choose which pets to summon, or at the very least pick from the pets in their stables.
