So that’s a “no” on making it make sense. You’re acting like hero talent trees are locked in stone and can never be expanded upon, while they’re allowed to rip out the pets that MM has been able to use for 20 years now.
The aim of the update is to improve common complaints coming from a specific community. That is not a specific attempt to hurt another community. You can feel that way all you want, but it’s not some ingrained attempt to hurt you or solo players. It’s fine to point out how it could hurt solo players, but implying the devs WANT to hurt you is just muddling the conversation and feedback.
They could improve things for group content without removing the pet. That they are going with removing the pet (and this is their third attempt at doing so) does make it feel like a targeted attack.
says the guy who is acting liek specs are locked in stone and can never be expanded upon xd
They’re not expanding by removing pets. They’re reducing class fantasy and utility in favor of people who only care about group content.
And maybe they’re right and maybe you’re right, but it’s not a “targeted attack” lmao. No game dev wants players to suffer. It’s okay to point out how changes for one group would impact another. And I hope they find a middle ground as I’ve said repeatedly. It’s just y’all are acting like the devs want to hurt you and thats not the intention. Acting this way breeds resentment and animosity. Giving clear, targeted feedback without emotional exaggeration is just healthier for everyone.
By making then FALCONEER
And im telling you, the middle ground doesnt work, it doesnt not satisfy nobody, it pisses both sides who wanted to have their own pet and the ones who didnt want pet at all
This was the worst possible option of “middle ground”, unles you count pissing both a success.
I dont insert anything, i said exactly what they did.
Blizzard don’t give a damn about it, so much they don’t, that they shove everything on the trashcan and made up a new one on the spot.
I know that, but it end up hurting then all the same, and its bogus that they didn’t foresaw that
I think you just proved my point about emotions clouding understanding. Take care.
I remember them heavily nerfing Demo Locks and SV Hunters prior to their reworks because they didn’t want people to keep playing those specs as they existed at the time.
They even joked about it by saying “we’d rather you didn’t play Demonology”.
So, they might not intend it to feel personal, but it does feel kind of personal after making their third attempt at getting rid of MM specs.
Classic pigeon chess behaviour, say nonsense, get refuted act like people are emotional and leave
well hopefully they can re do the hero tree system to make a petless MM, a melee MM, and a petless BM. here’s hoping!
Your post responding to me contained too much nonsense to bother with. That’s all.
Also, plenty of MM Hunters have emotional attachments to their pets, so expecting them to be utterly divorced from those emotions when discussing these changes seems pretty unrealistic.
Expecting emotional maturity is unrealistic? Damn.
This thread reminds me of one of those wild towns halls in Parks and Recreation.
Don’t be disingenuous. Expecting people who have an emotional attachment to their pets to not be allowed to use those emotions as an argument in keeping their pets is, just, dumb. It’s dumb. That’s all there is to it. People like their pets. They’re allowed to say they like their pets. Arguing that they can’t say any of that is just controlling and silly.
You’re inserting words into my posts. I never said you can’t have an emotional attachment. Instead, I said that posting feedback based on emotions and imagined ill intent muddles the conversation.
Y’all really want to be right so badly you’ll imagine I said you’re terrible people for having emotions or something. It’s literally the opposite of dumb to try to understand intent.
I think this conversation is not going to be fruitful to have with people this heavily unwilling to engage in a good faith manner. Have a nice day.
That’s you. You’re the one refusing to engage in good faith arguments by telling us how we can or can’t argue.
Oh no, we might hurt Blizzard’s feelings. The poor widdle multi-billion dollar company. Meanwhile they get to rip out our pets without us being able to argue back because apparently we have to run all our arguments through Eskers for approval first.
Okay thanks for showing the class how reasonable you can be.
If that’s what you think I said or meant, there’s a serious reading comprehension issue in here. Bye y’all
The guy saying “expecting emotional maturity”, playing a VIDEOGAME as a furry dragon, got emotionally hurt when confronted with opposite opinions and facts
gotta love the irony in the forums, people who usually act high and mighty about subject are usually guilty by it
It really is like Parks and Recreation haha
