The past hour I got phased to a different shard a minute before it was about to start. It was up on the other shard but then I got no loot.
What a bugged mess.

You are so far off base with your posts in this thread it makes me think you didn’t even log in in the past day.
Stepping back for a moment, is the idea of trying to concentrate the entire population of the game into a single spot ever really a good idea?
(Aside from the chaos of expansion launches, but that’s sort of a quaint tradition that everyone sort of now expects to be a moment of total chaos)
What I don’t like is the complete lack of info on how to play the event.
I see some tables, then I see 4 card options, a health and mana bar which I don’t know what that refers to. Randomly hit the card buttons when they light up. Don’t know what causes the mana bar to fill so I can use a card, etc.
Very poorly done.
The drop rate for these seems really high - like less than 1/10. Most times I am getting two of the ‘rare’ drops when I loot them.
I have only killed them about 10 times and I have gotten everything or close to it - certainly the mount, the pet, the bag and the toy. I could be missing a transmog but I got the hat and don’t really care about transmog so maybe others too.
And yes the rotation was hard to figure out when SW wasn’t working correctly but most people have figured it out anyway.
It doesn’t bode well for how we as a community are going to handle whatever 10.2.6 brings, but at least that should be lacking the pressure of being a limited time event?
They are on an oceanic server and they generally aren’t connected with the rest of us for world content. Plus they are playing in our off hours I imagine so very possible what they experience isn’t what we are experiencing. I was on between 2 and 4 am today and none of the areas were over crowded like they are during the daytime.
Yeah. Think its a crock that the SW site is within the city boundaries so Horde gets flagged for PvP then flattened, while the site at Org is out in the open with no immediate city guards around it.
Way to go Blizzard. Nice way to show who is favored here.
none of the horde were attacked in SW in any event I did there but only did a handful so you might experience it
Especially since the stormwind one flags horde players but the org one doesn’t flag alliance players.
I was fine for about 10 minutes then a druid decided to attack and when they did they all dog piled on me… or worgen piled? Most of them were worgens.
Not true, I see Horde getting attacked while on my Alliance characters.
It’s free honor points the few vs the many.
Not everyone has a Alliance character as same as those who don’t have Horde characters.
There are neutral areas that could have been used in Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor.
its bad like nearly every other event like this. if you didn’t put such a strict time limit ppl wouldn’t be trying to race the gate all at once for rng drops and lagging and crashing to hell.
there’s too many ppl in the pot, split it up.
Wrong.
I didn’t even get to dismount before I was dogpiled at the SW site.
When I did it last night at Valdrakken all I saw was 3 tables, and then 2 of the disappeared, while the third one was still there for a while.
it is if you include the few words you cut out - why be such a troll?
what is wrong with you people - can you read that I said ‘any event I did there’? were you at the events I did?
Portal locations need to be addressed. It makes no sense to have 2/3 portals in neutral locations, but for alliance its right inside stormwind.
I shouldn’t need to swap to another character for a limited event.
One of the ports being in Stormwind is hugely frustrating. Can’t get a tag in, too busy running away from people who are camping the portal just to kill Horde and I end up dead as a squishy clothie. Why is it right inside the city so I get tagged for PvP while the Horde port is outside Org? I just want my disc.
So who thought it would be a great idea to make a PvE event partially a PvP one? Every time I go to SW I have to risk fighting some jerk. All because the arena doesnt protect you quick enough. And go forbid if you accidentally attack a guard who happens to be right by the circle.
Can we do something about that? Like enabling it so if Alliance go to Org, they have the same chance of getting gob smacked, or move the SW one to a better location.
You know most of you guys complaining made characters on the former PvP servers - you are likely paired with a lot of PvPers. I play on a PvE server and I remember one event - a single horde character just stood in the middle for about 10 minutes waiting for the event to start and no one touched them.
