Not really. Not in the broad sense you are implying.

Nice quick little edit.

It’s not outright confirmation, but Ion’s comment about ‘clawing back some functionality’ definitely hints at Blizzard moving toward reducing the reliance on add-ons. By focusing on making the baseline game more intuitive and engaging, it seems like they’re paving the way for encounters to be less dependent on external tools. While they may not remove add-ons entirely, it feels like they’re aiming to level the playing field and make the experience more immersive for everyone.

Frankly this game needs addons to be playable. Removing them would be a big mistake

Thanks for agreeing that it’s not stated to be happening.

my post disagree why and if you read it, you’d understand.

You are still wrong.

They clarified further down.

They meant removal as in incorporated into the game.

Until they lock down the api, that is improbable.
If anything, they’ll add more to the game. Not remove them outright.

It’s to hide them from seeing the really juicy parts

If the devs implemented their own, I’m happy with this. Whatever keeps new players and old happy. Third party addons hurt the game and turn off players.

and this whole section is just stupid whiny nonsense.

“waaah boo hoo other types of people exist in the game and i don’t like it wah wah wah.”

FOH.

Ion says a lot of things, seldom do his words translate into actual game changes the way he frames them in interviews.

Its been perpetuated through-out most modern media.

You’re surprised people notice the trend?

It’s the current cultural climate. You’re still stuck in 2017.

External add ons add limitless customization. Something Blizzard can’t.

It provides people a unique experience tailored to what they personally desire

No one has issues with cosmetic addons.

People have issues with game-changing, handholding addons.
My OP explains this.

Ayo is this legit? Nice, if so.

If so, yall gon have to learn the fights n actually pay attention. :scream:
