NPC’s all need buffs… the zerg is getting bracket creep

i’m hoping that’s just an effect of bg week.

Hate to complain considering alliances good history in AV, but SHB needs moved back closer to the choke point or IBT needs pushed further out. Horde has a substantial advantage now

epic bg’s are the least engaging for me

however on a grind/reward basis it all comes down to how long the match lasts

if AV takes 45 minutes and I could do 3-4 regular bg’s in that time, AV is super unproductive. Rewards must be balanced with time.

Sadly bg rewards are especially unrewarding compared to almost any other option in the entire game, as any reward value is relative to other avenues.

Can you expand on this pls.

No. Two points:

  1. Alliance is bypassing SH GY and instead, taking SF GY. This means not only is the Alliance going the long way, they are giving up 200 points, and a key GY.

Why? Because

  1. Alliance would rather lose fast than win slow.

not really, a 45 minute AV will net you 1k or more of honor, if you win all 4 of your regular bgs you might come out ahead, but if you are alliance, have a 45 minute AV or longer and it’s your first win of the day, you’ll probably be walking out of that AV with 2000+ honor, you aren’t going to get that from 3-4 normal bgs.

This is a valid point. These guys might want to pay better attention in the 40s.

Nah. Alliance or Horde that is irrelevant.

It’s people who step up from nowhere and tell noobs what to do is what both faction actually lacks. Most people like to point fingers (Obviously it’s easier)

I personally enjoy leading 40man matches. (When I feel like Horde is lacking common sense I usually step up)

However, you don’t need 40 man to change the course of the battle, in fact, that will NEVER happen unless its Hydra (Durr).

You need 2-5 players who listen and respond to critical incs & calls, no one will know how they won, but the 3-5 individuals who act on the objectives will.

Honor is worthless now, just empty numbers with no loot attached

honor provides mounts, titles, pennants and a pet.

nah 9/10 of those empty levels provide nothing

and none of that stuff is anything that provides loot progression

honor used to provide loot progression, now it provides none. honor as a reward is much less compelling now.

the levels are just manageable chunks of a larger level, hold overs of the prestige system.

loot progression isn’t the point of pvp. if it’s your sole motivation for pvping perhaps you shouldn’t be pvping.

when did honor provide loot?

honor provided loot for about 6 xpacs

hard to understand how you have no clue about that

and yes loot progression has been a mainstay of pvp for 10+ years of wow - again not sure how you missed this main participation hook used for over a decade

gotta ignore you now because this is so unproductive

iirc you still needed to do high rated pvp for gear worth anything. when honor was a currency there wasn’t much to buy. i also seem to remember bg specific badges.

its a hook sure, but the point of pvp is the pvp, this is especially true if you are the type of person getting high honor levels in random bgs.

First epic win is 65 cp.

First reg win is 40 cp
Second win is 8 cp (48 total)
Third win is 8 cp (54 total)
Forth win is 8 cp (64 total)

One epic win is more cp than 4 reg wins.

Close epic losses have been rewarding the cp too. If that’s still a thing then even easier. Now the boxes could come with more I suppose but that’s it.

And every PVP Island Expedition win nets 50 cp, and even if you lose you still get some (I believe it’s tied to the amount of Azerite gained).

Blizzard indicated they were going to scale things as players ilvls etc went up. This would keep the BG as “epic” and stop that zerg-style. I am seeing zerg mentality coming back so I am suggesting the scaling is not keeping up.

Alterac Valley

  • Increased the number of Reinforcements by 100.
  • The NPCs health and damage will match the players level and gear, which will result in a more consistent difficulty.

Personally do not know if this is a bad or good thing, but friends play feral and rogue are saying they hate AV because Demon Hunters are taking them out of the game more and more. Stealthing to enemy base they get seen by DH at choke points, mines, bunkers, towers, through walls they get seen and targeted while stealthed.

Something I did not know, apparently feral druid stealth is weaker than rogue stealth. NPCs can see feral at closer distances, but not rogue when both are stealthed. They found that out in AV, when feral followed behind rogue and the arrows started flying from the NPCs at feral

en isla de la conquista los cañones del barco de los hordes todavía siguen pegando a quarry podrían arreglar eso?
en Alterac Valley esta un puente en RHGY y te corta los casteos, no asi en Aid Station
