Feedback: Epic Battlegrounds

I prefer playing broken classes and winning with skill!

Okay but a good dps class is important as well. Plus I don’t see where that poster said they lose…

This is true also, but when healer numbers are relatively equal boomies are the deciding factor in most cases. I mean how can you actually argue with 40k dps?

Boomies are broken though, just broken good instead of broken terrible.

You are correct, but the equation is more complex as all healers are not the same.

Sorry to say I am a resto shaman, cool when the group stays in a clump but not competitive with most other healers when the battle is dynamic.

Much of my power is in HoTs with cool downs, casting rain or totems on what soon becomes an empty bit of land as the melee moves on is frustrating,

Still haven’t won an AV in two weeks. wow-stats reckons alliance wins are at 48% … WTF. I have not even seen a close one. Sure some I entered and they were already started and an Alliance loss assured but WTF. I should be seeing some wins not ZERO. Every game so far is showing the same pattern, wipe alliance at IB and start rolling up towers

Running like lemmings one by one into the IB choke isn’t a gear issue, it’s a player issue.

Oooh wait … we might … nope lost that one too

It’s hugely dependent on what time you’re queuing.

making the changes you guys did to A/V has destroyed the BG for one side. Please give back the option to take this out of rotation.

Im done wasting 30 mins for nothing in return when my win rate on this BG 5%.

no need to change maps. they can create another bg for another map.

The choke point for alliance is far greater than horde. They have 2 ways to get to our towers, we have only one path.

Fix the IOC xploit

Fix the AV exploits too. It’s ridic that Horde rogues/locks can get into South Bunker without going through base.

I saw a glaive literally 2-shot the Horde boss last night on my Alliance toon. The glaives are just brokenly OP due to this exploit.

I was running into the building to make my way up the stairs, a glaive was parked at the doorway. Then I looked up and suddenly it said “Alliance wins!”, so the Horde boss died in like under 3 seconds.

Either that, or some other people were on the Horde boss before you.

I saw it with my own two eyes, the Horde boss went from 100% to dead in the span of 3-4 seconds. The glaive exploit is real.

Since I don’t play Horde, I don’t know what they are doing lest they are gliding in from the upper hills.

Please make Tarren Mill vs Southshore a queue-able epic bg instead of a “once every now and then” brawl, thanks. It could even be used in place of IoC while all the IoC bugs and exploits get fixed.

So … the major problems players continue to see, based on all the comments, are:
IOC - potential exploits where siege weapons can damage bosses through walls ? (edit: has this been sorted ? Someone said in IOC this has been fixed for weeks ??? If so was there a hotfix note somewhere ?)
AV - the horde bottleneck at IB is too strong/too far into the map ?

It’s been another two months since a blue’s last post so can we get an update pls
If Blizzard believe things are in a great spot, can you please bring back blacklisting so I don’t have to bother heading into AV please. Still haven’t won a game yet in 3 weeks - so 40+ mins staying in a BG where alliance just get worn down because of game design is painful and unrewarding. I appreciate horde hated the zerg AV in the past (dont worry I hated it too), but at least they got to blacklist it.
IOC i am seeing wins and losses and in different ways whereas AV is just like a video replay of the same game.

http://wow-stats.com/bgwr01.html suggests horde AV win % is 52% in the last 4 weeks which I find mind-blowing. Surely this can’t be right.
