When the BG's first came out Horde was winning, Blizz moved Horde starting point back and they have been the underdog since.
If the map hasn't changed since, and the Horde is now winning the majority, how were they the underdog to begin with...?

They became the underdog when the map changed early on.
Galv and Balinda have been beefed up, its easier now for Horde (and Alliance) to defend them. Alliance used to just plow through them, much harder to do that now.

I'm just a little worried now that since Alliance isn't winning as much and the outcry is getting louder that Blizz might over react and give Alliance an additional advantage somehow.
When the BG's first came out Horde was winning, Blizz moved Horde starting point back and they have been the underdog since. (proof just look at someone who has 1000's (or even 100's like myself) of AV games played and see what the percentage of wins are Horde vs Alliance. Out of over 380 AV games played on this toon I (as Horde) have a 40% win ratio, you Krienn with over a 1000 AV games played on that toon have a 87% win ratio with Alliance. Alliance has (on average) been winning AV for a very long time now. Horde is finally feeling good about winning again.
Please Blizz don't overreact and lets see if Alliance can figure this out without giving them an advantage.
I Agree with you Luku. But keep in mind part of the reason horde lost so much was because it was a habit to zerg north and lose under these changes. Horde strategy was never changed and the outcome remained constant. Krystar had a good point when he said the people who just wanted to get the game over with(and predominantly promoted the losing zerg strat) have mostly been filtered out via the epic queue among other things. So now you presumably have the players queueing who enjoy the game and donāt mind it lasting longer and know more strategy. These are the players I see posting here and it makes for very interesting games that can go either way. Phalanx said he would sit on the changes for now so he can let things settle which is wise. Iām with you though man. I like the map the way it is and I donāt think itās necessary to change things, at least not at its current state. Lol I canāt beleive Iām saying this because that mini choke(between ibgy and ibt) horde has is a pain but I love the challenge. Itās so satisfying if you can break it but itās also rare the horde properly utilizes it.

Doesn't really answer my question, does it?
If the map has not changed since the starting cave was pushed back, they can't have been the underdog if they are now winning the majority with that same map.
Player problem, not a map one.
Bynir you have 2000 AV games played and a 64% percent win ratio, shouldn't that be closer to 50%? That is unless you do a lot of premades which usually tear through PUG's.
The map hasn't changed but the mechanics have. It was a race before, Alliance usually won the race. Now is different, things have been slowed down.
The problem in a nutshell is you now have Horde queueing for AV WANTING it to last an hour. We drag it out now because we know that's how we win and that's the experience we're looking for. Horde that don't want that experience are doing regular bgs.
Several of us have seen SPM successfully use IBGY as a choke so it's doable. Adapt and overcome!
Luku and Bynir I think yāall are both right. The only point I disagree with you on luku is always losing because of the few second difference there was in the Zerg strat. Yāall should have back capped and defended more. It was so rare that the horde would and it cost them. Instead yāall played to the strength of the alliance instead of your own strengths which have been stated and havenāt changed since the changes. Itās all about strategy now and the horde frankly have the better pvp players in most games at this moment.

You could argue the bunkers vs tower issue but that can work to our favor once we take a bunker. Other than that Bal with her Ice Block nonsense and the stupid pet keeping us in combat forever but I haven't been there when she was killed after this recent fix.
I'm really at the point of knowing that alliance will either stalemate or lose. I still keep trying but honestly with all the horde saying we just have to figure it out.... I want them to figure it out for us.... Cause right now the only thing we haven't tried is ram riders.
lost every game, A DIP HAHAHAHAH THEY CALLED IT A DIP! HAHAHAHAHAHAH
Alliances new strat, works sometimes.

The pally is a bit annoying spamming it and all. Then gets mad when there are no rogues south after he spams entire raid to SH lol.

There's a reason Horde queue times are nearing an hour, and why Alliance lose every battle now
But it's not a hour. Just checked on my rogue its 13 mins atm.

There's no way to push past Iceblood as Alliance. You will lose on reinforcements no matter what.
It's not as simple as that.,
Ok ram riders are useless, just imagine 10 GY guards that move from DB to SHGY. Yeah they hit hard but they just get kited. Just have to accept i'll have to re roll horde

Do they even go past SH? Last time we summoned ram riders, they sat at SH near Balinda.

Game was almost over by the time 3 of us got them up. And all it did was push 1 GY...DB to SP then a little around the corner. They were heal-able, but that infinite kiting from frost mages though....
please just fix this already, this is stupid
