no my arguement is that your trying to make bear seem like its squishy to magic when its not. ive also said that bear needs unique utility in the beginning of this convo more than “magic dr”. what boomie needs isnt something hero talents should provide, boomie should need a baseline extra defensive to solve its inherit squishy issue, also consider bear form exists for boomie.
dont spread misinfo about bear druids when you clearly dont know how they work nor their kit
i mean considering you havent played bear at all in raid and have tons of rotational issues as bear in your keys, like 90k+ overal in falls? your pullign season 2 numbers dude
Not once did I say Guardian is squishy, and you’re the only one in this thread fighting the fact that they have issues against magic damage. You’re the one in the wrong, here.
And Blizzard hasn’t said anything about what they intend to do with the class or Balance spec tree. Balance obviously needs more defensives or utility baked into their kit, and I would HOPE that I’m aware that bear form exists for Balance, but until Blizzard addresses it themselves I will continue to fight for better options in the Hero tree.
except im not, if magic damage is as much of a problem as you say, the bears shouldnt be doing these keys. this is just streamer takes funneling downward to the playerbase. magic is just not a big of a issue as you think it is.
thats fine, you can do that for boomie and what not cause boomie does need defensive help. but again spreading misinfo about bear is just not the way to do that
Everyone must be spreading bad info in this thread then, with you being the exception.
At the end of the day, these specs need help with their defensives and utility—that’s all the rest of us are asking for. Sorry for hijacking this thread with such a silly argument. Hopefully we get some good, constructive feedback from others.
your also underperforming in keys during season 2 as well. so your point is again moot. you pulling 80k in 24 uldamon when other bears pulls 94k+ and your playing with a aug mind you
unironically? anyone who says bear is weak to magic is spreading bad info yes.
but your right enough hijacking this thread, just dont spread bad bear info cause streamer says “bear ftier” when its clearly not defensively or offensively. utility wise yes i hope bear gets something unique
anything else to add then? i can pull more logs if you want if you think im cherry picking
I dropped Lycara and Renewal for the whole Protector of the Pack line and I feel so much tankier as moonkin now. Yes, I lose 6% mastery, but I get so much survival that I end up doing same dps because I save GDC’s from using less heals. It also makes it easier to run Belorelos.
Not saying the standard build is wrong, I’m just pointing out our Regrowth can be strong if invested.
again your 25 bracken hide log is 120k while another 25 bracken hide is 160k, 40k dps difference is staggering. dps overal is 100% a good indicator of skill btw cause it shows good rotational understanding while using your defensive buttons properly
your nelth is 75k while another same key level is 100k. so ya your not the best bear but not bad either. but its clear you are hindered by the fact you dont want to know the ins and outs of your own kit
again lets not derail this thread with misinfo about bears magic survivability.
i think the node should be changed to a split node, bears get somewhat extra utility while boomie gets more defensive power not just arcane dr (which is border line useless)
I’ve updated my original post to include some new thoughts and ideas that address the underwhelming or uninspired talents for Balance. Also cleaned up the formatting and various explanations for clarity.
I’m confused as to where their performance matters for giving feedback.
If only top 1% of players are allowed to give any feedback, then we might as well just delete the forums and go straight to twitch to ask them what they want.
I feel like having a single talent that’s +40% leech and almost +50% damage to thrash is a little bit silly. With current class/spec talents, a bear running this tree would have such absurd self-sustain when hitting multiple targets that it’s hard to imagine numbers stay near where they are, and so it doesn’t feel like there’s any reason to speculate on the numbers or power level.
So I’ll just say I’m super happy seeing Lunar Beam getting love. I enjoy moonbear generally and Lunar Beam specifically just from a thematic standpoint, and have run that ability in the past whenever I feel I can get away with it. I was very worried about seeing a hero tree built on it since it’s been so chronically undertuned, but the tree looks like it does a good job making it an impactful ability while also making it usable much more frequently.
