This isnt whats happening atm. Its slightly buffed the first heal (which is actually slightly nerfed from live because our aura seems to have gotten a ~6% reduction) Then gets noticeably worse (compared to live) every single hot applied after; not rewarding the first few heal over time affects at all.
The diminishing returns kick in to quickly, It should be the first hot heals more the live with the 30% mastery increase, 2~4 are around the old values and then 5 forward starts massively decreasing the bonus heals; this lets our baseline hard casted hots feel good or at least not nerfed, the interactive hot talents like harmonious and germination become more about filling in the downtime a 4 mastery stack soft cap would have on individual targets between wildgrowth/tranqs cooldown and lifebloom’s target cap and prevents the full on mastery fodder talents (cultivation, springblossom, grove tending) causing mastery to scale out of control so they can do their own decent healing again.
Or did the code mess up when reworking the mastery somewhere and end up removing the default mastery application meaning we’re starting with 0 mastery stacks on a hot instead of 1 throwing the whole thing off. We had double the baseline mastery stacks in Beta and pre-patch, did something like that happen again just the opposite this time. Wildgrowth and rejuv got a buff according to the same patch notes but thats no where to be seen in testing since theyre still healing less then live so something has to be off somewhere.
