I closed the game window + Battle.net app, made sure there were no pending downloads etc. Still cannot log into the game servers.
i am having same issue. Disconnected at “Logging in to game server”.
I was in game having trouble crossing bridge into Stormwind. I’d run across and it would teleport me back to goldshire side of bridge. So i logged out rebooted PC and router, and now can’t get back into game

Finally, Blizz has issued an announcement on the Battle.net app that they are aware of the issue…
I am unable to log in to WoW today. I have this issue with both Retail and Season of Discovery Classic. When I try to log in the game will launch and go through the usual process before reaching the character select screen; once it reaches the “Logging in to game server…” step it pauses for around 30 seconds and then returns the message “You have been disconnected. (WOW51900328)”
I have performed the troubleshooting steps in the support article for this error and it has not resolved. The issue does not appear to be with my game installation or computer settings. I have run a WinMTR test and it appears there is a Blizzard peering server that is at 90+% packet loss with extremely high response times on the few packets that do succeed.

Seriously! Seems like every time they “fix” stuff this kind of crap happens…so beyond irritating!
transfer aborted instance not found while trying to do a mythic.
Same issue on Moonguard, we cant use portal, hearthstone, boat to dragon isles, druid dreamway portal. but in valdrakken you can take the stormwind portal and works.

Just give everyone a free lockout… or check who was currently in gnomer and give them a free lockout. This is so scuffed.
I wonder if it’s just some of us that can’t log in, or if it’s everyone…

Right there with you! You are not alone.
When the authentication server is down, there may be too much lag to respond with an error. Either way, wait until the banner is gone on Bnet before trying to login.
Queued for LFR Amirdrassil on my BDK, and 90% of the raid had issues entering with the Transfer Aborted error. They summoned me and after about a minute of staring at the loading screen I got disconnected and couldn’t log back in!
Submitted a ticket before I knew it was a server issue. D:
