To be fair, at the same point, the goal shouldn’t be forcing society to change. Just like people need to abstain from insulting others in the first place, you should also not allow what random players on the internet say about you impact you negatively.
No, feelings need to be hurt in life, never hearing anything negative makes you grow up sheltered and entitled.

time to go the way of ff14 pvp and only be able to use pre-set messages where the highest form of toxicity is spamming “Nice Job!”
Na, horrid idea. Sick of watching the company waste money on things like this when there are a gazillion bugs etc to fix.
it’s not very complex, but they actually already do this in Overwatch.
E.g., if you say something along the lines of “gg ez”, what will result in chat is something like “I’m currently struggling with some insecurity issues, but great job everyone”.
Haven’t logged on Overwatch in awhile, but that’s roughly what I remember.
