FCM to Deviate Delight

we do not want layers on our realm or over population. that would not solve our issue. just enough to sustain our community

Well you can’t have it all fam. If you have such a hardline then your server probably won’t make it. Layers help to reduce the overpopulation in the world and isn’t that bad. Idk why people don’t like it. Hard to entice people leaving dead realms to a dying realm that way fam

it ruins world pvp and im not asking to have it all just FCM from grobb to deviate delight for a couple weeks then close it up. very simple solution, and don’t need anything more than that.

Give Deviate Delight exactly 375 roleplay friendly players on each faction or we will angrily RP walk in circles in Stormwind.

I like seeing the same people.

How do you not understand?

They don’t care about the game, they WANT you to move off the server, that gives them extra money. They WANT you to have a bad experience. They could fix the population problems, they don’t want to. They want you to transfer off. They want your money. That’s all they care about.

Yeah, DD people are sounding a bit toxic here.

toxic players on a WoW server? stunning development

A little late to this thread but free transfers are a bad idea. They destroy faction balance, which is good on DD right now and make the server a dumping ground. I think the server population is fine. I can find groups and actually farm stuff no problem.

no sir there is not good faction balance here on this game lol i wanna see more hordes 2 b on my team so i can buy stuff on ah house wtf

Get to 50 Jimmy, then we’ll talk

According to If.pro it’s 58% alliance. That’s the best balance DD has had in a long, long time. Probably since early p2 classic vanilla.

It is never too late and it doesnt if blizzard does cap for each faction and they stay until they hit the amount of players for each side

You have layers to blame for this, smaller servers wouldn’t be dying out and mega servers wouldn’t be so massive if they never introduced layering.

This is an example of how a simple change for convenience ends up negatively impacting the game. This is also why a lot of people wanted strictly no changes.

Also on a side note, faction imbalance is also another huge issue in TBC. And this was no doubt directly stirred by free character boosts to lv 58. As people tend to choose horde in TBC, for bloodelves, and the stronger racials in PvE. And yes I know blood elves cannot be boosted. But having a main character facilitate their leveling process is helpful

Couldn’t have said it better. You are exactly right

We should all just be a little nicer to each other :3

Yup.

DD needs more people. All of classic needs new people. There just isn’t enough influx of new players.

And unfortunately Activision will do nothing. There are many servers worse off than DD and have been that way for a while. Actiblizz will just keep soaking transfer money. Why nor? DD has been dead since ppl burned out in AQ40. Remaining members have tried to encourage transfers since then but it didn’t work then and it won’t now. Why would folks come here? There’s no groups and limited raiding opportunities. Layers fix the overcrowding issue.

I do enjoy most aspects of the small pop. Chill questing. Farming. But I have zero drive to try and finish grinding rep because there’s no groups.

And to clarify my personal stance as a day 1 member. If Actiblizz offered free transfers OFF the server I’d take it. If they offered a $25 fee to transfer all my characters I’d take it. But for now I’m just a grumpy old man still enjoying my server for what it is - dead.

This is a fantastic idea. DD needs more people. It seems every week we are a having a problem finding tanks/heals for all kinds of dungeons. And when world pvp is fighting the same two horde every week or so its not really a pvp server at that point.

Activision Blizzard is killing their games on their own, and with the new scandal that just came to the forefront a lot of people are quitting. As it’s been a long struggle to continue validating supporting Activision Blizzard. And this is the “final straw”
