Not sure, but they looked like chocolate chip cookies to me. Although, now come to think of it, I’m not entirely sure they were chocolate chips.

My Nana (great-grandmother) made what she called Monkey Face cookies, no one has ever been able to replicate the recipe that same. Now, my favorite are Oatmeal Raisin.

My mother makes wreaths during the Christmas season that are essentially rice krispy treats except they are made with corn flakes instead and then topped with cinnamon red hot candies. One of my favorites.
