Favorite non-combat pets for adventuring?

What’s your favorite pet to just summon and have hang out with your character - not necessarily for actual pet battles?

I have to admit, the creepiness of my Singing Sunflower works for me. I wonder if anyone else hears it sing.

I really like the little bone shard guy. He periodically spins and shouts “bone storm”.

I have an entire list of favorites but each of my characters has their own favorites.

Baby Blizzard Bear
Octopod Fry
Ban-Fu
Boneshard
Francois
Smoochums

Those are a few of my favorites but there are many, many more lol.

My two favorites are a bandicoon I named Socks (RIP Socks) and an armadillo I named Tarkus. I don’t do many pet battles with them, but they’re both just so cute that I keep them summoned anyway.

I don’t use pets much, but the Cinder Kitten (named Syn) is my favorite. I like the bright fire theme and it’s cute and rolls around playfully! The GIlnean Raven is my second.

I like the five ‘kittens’ from the WoW Shop. They are active enough to be fun but not so much to be irritating.

Corgis or squire usually.

My Worgen Rogue runs around with a Worg Pup named Baby Worgen, how people keep finding me in stealth is a mystery…

The drunken crab that’s running around with a pirate hat and booze in hand.

Ethereal Soul-Trader has a really cool animation when you kill stuff.

I really need to remember to bring out my ethereal trader on my warlock more often. I started collecting the appearance it sells back in WoD I think but still haven’t finished.

I have a few that are sentimental for “reasons”. I farmed up my Sprite Darter myself. My Emerald Whelpling was given to me by a friend who was also into pet collecting. My dad named one of my red goo blobs “Name it Red Jello, but spell it fancy!” were his instructions, lol. That sort of thing.

Mostly, I have PetLeash decide for me. I want SOMETHING out, and when the special ones come out, it makes me that much happier.

I’m still waaay beyond Super Hyper Annoyed that the set isn’t moggable. Unless it was changed while I wasn’t looking, but I think it’s bogus that there’s an entire set you have to actively farm for and can’t do anything with unless you’re AFKing in the city.

Funny thing is, every one of my characters has a designated mount, flying mount (unless their first mount can fly), and non-combat pet.

This toon for example currently uses the brutosaur as her ground mount, Porto-drake as a flying mount, and the lost platysaur as a non-combat pet. This added to her roaster of prehistoric hunter pets makes for a decent theme.

OH. i’m so glad you brought this up

My main druid has a moonkin hatchling named smithers that she adopted so they’re bonded for life basically and he goes with her almost everywhere.

My spriest has an assortment of little void-touched friends she’s taken in while looking into the deep dark beyond.

All my alts have their own buddies! I love all 650+ of my little friends :’)

fab name 10/10
