Favorite non-combat pets for adventuring?

molten corgi

I have a soft spot for Reek as hes a asoiaf/got reference.

I often roll with 2 porcupines, and like to complete the ensemble with the vengeful porcupette. Pink flamingoes were also the go for a while til the strider update when they became more menacing-looking. Swift lovebird, mazzranache and mulgore hatchling.

I have a pet fox kit following my vulpera

The Alterac Brew-Pup from the store. Nothing like free booze for everyone every time you pet the pup!

I always bring my Lil’Ragnaros.

Having a portable cooking fire is always nice!

Baby Elderhorn.

He has really big eyes and hops around like a puppy. I have named mine “Moosedog” accordingly. He always makes me feel better.

The Molten Corgi. I named it after my dog.

RIP Sadie. You’ll always be with me in spirit.

yes. we do hear you sunflower singing when its out. i hear it in the AH on occasion, and I never use it, so i know its not me.

My favourites are any of the dog/wolf pets (including the skeletal dogs) that I name after past dogs. haven’t started naming the cats yet, though.

my current main one i bring out on this toon is the black and white corgi, who i think is named corgnelius, but i renamed it Skylar, after my aunts and uncles current pup, who has similar coloring, but happens to be a border aussie. she’s more attached to me, though, because i do most of the training, feeding, walking, and playing.

one of my bank alts (a shaman who is always in ghost wolf form) constantly has the black worg pup following her, its name is Jasmine, after my grandfathers black lab.

If i get the frostwolf ghostpup, it will be named Babygirl, after my last dog (A pitmation), and it will be my main pet to have by my side. because as much as i love Skylar, I will eventually move out of my aunts and uncles, and she will stay with them, no matter how much i want to take her with me (and how much i think I’d be the better option for her).

more info than you really asked for, but thats how it is with me, lol.

I think others do hear it & that’s where the hate comes from.
Some people really hates that pet.

Regardless, I love my Singing Sunflower as well. Makes me want to /highfive when I run into someone who also has theirs out.

My other favorite is my Enchanted Broom. Love the sparkles.

Argent Gruntling and especially when I mount up with his pony bridle.

I have to admit that the Singing Sunflower makes me…angry. I instantly turn off the volume when I get near one of those. :rage:

My shadow priest always has her, “Echoing Voidling,” out with her. I named it Abyss.

It really seems to fit her, “Servant of the Void,” motif.

She rides the dark phoenix just to round things out.

:cake:

Well for this here warlock, I have my demons out, so I don’t really want another critter around. However some of my other toons have little friends to keep them company.

Belf paladin- a red whelpling named Ruby. The pally’s a redhead, and over the course of WotLK I ended up associating her with the red dragonflight. Since she got exalted with Wyrmrest I got her the red drake mount, and somewhere along the line I decided to farm up the matching pet.

UD Deathknight- as a lurching, rotting, festering, plague spreading horror, it feels so right for him to be followed by his Undercity roach, Skitters!

UD Shadow Priest- her face is stitched on, she has a soft spot for Abominations, so naturally, she’s accompanied by the Weebomination on her adventures.

Think that’s about it, really. Lots of my toons don’t really “fit” with having pets around.
