I started playing at the very end of Vanilla. This is my original toon. He has race changed and name changed a number of times but in the spirit of DragonFlight i went back to my roots as a human mage and my original name. I have rolled alts of every single class and race over the years. I have played endgame as a healer, and melee DPS (Paladin) and as other ranged DPS Shadow priest, lock, hunter.
I always find myself coming back to the mage though. The playstyle and fantasy behind the class always get me to do EVERYTHING on this toon first and it has always been my main. I tried to switch mains a number of times. Even DF I was going to main a hunter and got him to 65, and i was like NOOOOOOOOOPE i miss maging. So here I am. What is your ride or die and why?

My ride or die is whatever is S tier in keys.

Monk. No matter how much people gripe that it’s bad at single target, or a horrible tank, or this, or that, or waaah, or baaah, I’ve always excelled on my monk for the content I do.
Second would be fury warrior.

My main is my priest healer, but I probably end up spending most of my time on my hunter once the tier is “over” (I’ve gotten mostly everything on my main that I want/need). I’ve been playing hunter off and on since vanilla, so it’s a pretty easy choice.

MM Hunter/Any rogue spec.
I just don’t care about the other classes tbh.
Daggers/Guns/Stealth is all I need

Demon Hunter, especially Vengeance.
IMO, best blend/style of offense, defense, and mobility.
Bonus feature: it irks nonDH players.

It was unholy DK for about a decade, but then I played destro. I don’t even care about the other lock specs, I like the big green boom.
Right now It feels like 3, Death Knight, Warlock, and Hunter. I guess you could say I enjoy pet classes.

Been playing the game since MoP and still dont have a favorite. I’ve played everything besides Druid and Shaman. I can pick up any spec/class and play it, but Ive never felt a sense of attachment to anything that felt like it represented who I was, all the classes are either too edgy(Warrior, DH, Warlock, DK, Rogue), too unordinary(Mage, Priest, Paladin, Hunter), or feel too hippie(Monk, Shaman, Druid). Maybe if they ever add Tinkers I will finally have a main since I really like scif-fi stuff and the idea of being a physically inadept underdog individual who uses a hulk-buster suit like Mekkatorque to overcome his shortcomings would be cool.
Fury warrior!
I’ve been there for the highs and lows. It’ll always be my main. Fotm alt swapping is not my thing.
That’s a tough decision. Probably either Warrior or Shaman.
I was exclusively an Arms Warrior all the way to the end of Wrath. Cataclysm is when I finally broke out and tried something else… which was Shaman.
Warlock is the most fun class in the game in my eyes.
But i still really miss my priest that i mained from the day i started in wod, up until 9.2.
I’ve loved ret since wrath. It’s been in shambles from when holy power was introduced until this rework. I’ve played it on and off since I came back to wow in 8.2 and it felt okay in 9.2, but this iteration is the best it’s felt since Wrath.
Holy priest & Arcane mage, depending on what role I get to play.
That arcane rotation is to intense for me. I wish i could play it honestly but it just feels way to clumsy for me. So much going on I can’t keep the priorities stright. But I have always loved frost. The only time I played Arcane was Wrath and for a while in Shadowlands.

Hunter , I Love those “Strange Gestures” Keep them coming
Hunter is probably my second favorite class in the game. I spend more time on my mage for sure and do everything with him first…but when i start getting burned out on the mage I always go to my hunter for relief.

I started with druid in 2022 my first. Now I’m gravitating to warrior. I really like warrior rotations on all specs, meanwhile I only like feral on druid. So I’m becoming a warrior main pretty quickly. Also both are fun in pvp but warrior is so braindead I can focus more on my plays and what other people are doing. Druid I’m just tunneled in keeping up my dots.
