Monk, Hunter, Shaman, and Rogue. Those are the four I play every expansion, without fail.
I’ve played BrM and WW monk since MoP, and loved it. Resto Shaman mainly for that class, and BM/Surv Hunter, and Assassin Rogue.
I’ve got a max of each, although since SL, I’ve been warming up to Death Knights, love Frost and Blood.
DKs will be added to the list. They are probably the best anti-caster class aside from Rogues, and PvP is my main activity.
Hunter is my forever-favorite, but as it’s one of the most popular classes in the game, I’ve no problem putting it down to play another class.
Caster - Warlock
Melee - Rogue or Monk. Sometimes feral but not usually.
My BM Hunter. She’s been my main since Nov '04.
Why? I dunno. Never got tired of the class I guess.

Locks.
its just “i’ve been garbage since wrath and i will continue to live amongst the garbage” ( back then we were nerfed a lot and quickly )
got to go with BM hunter because of Feign Death (get out of ‘in combat’ bug free) and the coolness of trainable twin pets.
Human mage. This is also my original toon from when I first began playing in 2009. Originally was on Eredar, now on Sargeras, and changed my original name too (it was Eryelle or something like that). But I’ve always loved mage. Both because it’s what I originally learned, but I love the ability to craft food, port and AOE is a nice bonus, too. I’ve tried other races and classes too, but human mage has always been my go-to.
Ret (mop till now), fury (vanilla character), and then collectively mage (vanilla character).
Every other class is just a tool to reduce monotony, and feed into metaprogression for those characters.
I guess at this point it’s this frost mage. I did originally play a Draenei shaman on EU whenever I first started I think, but I’m not sure whatever I did back then can be considered playing the game by anyone, regardless of how casual they might be

Boreas is my ride or die. Frost Death Knight with occasional bits of Blood Death Knight.
For healing, I made a Fistweaver Alt with the rise of 10.0.7, a Worgen MW Monk named Krigisk. Though I would never take Krigisk into Mythics, that’s all for Boreas.
I love the current iteration of Frost mage to be real honest. It has enough abilities that there are plenty of buttons to push without being over the top, its reactive as in priorities versus a static rotation so its fun and reactive. I enjoy the hell out of it.

I haven’t played enough this expansion to really have a thorough opinion (so far), but in the bit of world content I’ve done I think it has felt good for the most part except for Rune of Power being a bit annoying and the occasional very unlucky ten million frostbolts for a single proc
I’m happy you’re happy with frost!
I’ve stuck with this rogue since day 1, but I do find my own personal favorite of the moment can change.
At this particular time I’ve been having a lot of fun with a fury warrior, but I’ll probably come back to the rogue again eventually.
It’s been HPal up until DragonFlight.
There’s never been a worse time to be an HPal, especially if you PVP.
Right now just playing hunter, because knocking people off of things is my true passion in life.
I always go back to my elemental shaman… I must be a masochist.
On another note, been loving my shaman on wotlk classic. Love the feel of throwing down my totems and throwing lightning bolts (balls?) until they get close enough for me to smack em with my mace.
Man I wish I could go back to 2008.
I like playing a mage too, and have a few myself; however, my all time favorite class/spec is the BM hunter. I also enjoy destruction warlock, shadow priest, and I even have a monk and a rogue. I’ve never cared for any of the tanks - tried them all and just don’t enjoy them. After 17 years, my fave is still good ole BM hunter
DK
I was originally a paladin, then wrath happened and edge lord had to make a DK for the alt, then cata happened and made prot paly feel bad so the blood dk dps became the blood dk tank
Only class I’ve really played since then, regardless of how good/bad they are
Paladin - questing solo is my thing. Little to no downtime.
Dungeons and raids I’m not much use, but I stick to LFR, so I don’t care.
PvP wise, it’s a joke class, just as PvP in WoW is. Instead of balancing Paladin/Shaman for PvP, they gave both sides the class.
