Two that would have definitely been on my list if I’d gone beyond five.
Roy Clark was smokin’.
1 Vivian Campbell. His work on the first Dio albums is amazing.
2. Randy Rhodes. Easy one to pick but he was amazing.
3 Jake E Lee. Another fantastic Ozzy guitarist.
4 Dave Murray and Adrian Smith. They are my favorite guitar duo of all time. I saw them a few time on the Powerslave tour. Amazing
5 Matthias Jabs. Some of the most iconic guitar solos in rock history.
6 George Lynch. Dokken wasn’t that great of a band but he was awesome. I still remember his guitar he played in the Freddy Krueger video. I always wanted it.
Best bass guitar player? Steve Harris hands down.
Man I feel old looking back at these.
Edit: I feel Johnany Cash should be on this list as well. Everything he did was pure gold. But he was the total package. Not just guitar player.
