Hey guys I just started my first pally on WOTLK. Lvl 14 so far and is there a fastest way to lvl? Should I go prot and just spam dungeons? Or solo quest as ret? Thank you!
first off, try posting as your new character and probably the realm you are on. Hard to say how you should level without knowing alliance/horde

The answer is the same regardless. Spec ret and quest. Without rdf you’ll stumpy never get groups consistently/ far enough to justify it, and even if you did, questing is still faster in nearly every case. Download a good guide addon (rested xp) is a good one

no matter if you spam dungeons or quest, spec ret. Command seal is by far superior to anything else you could spec into.
Get yourself the glyph for seal of command, it does wonders for mana.

Ya probably just doing the questing thing since as others said no RDF, chances are you will queue for LFG tool the dungeon in your level range and out level it while waiting for a group to form. Unless you are on a lopsided alliance realm (maybe you will get lucky).
I queued as a paladin tank on horde side (Maladath) and just quested the blood elf starting area and out leveled the RFC (first dungeon for horde) by 2 levels before I got a tell for group but I was already too high for the dungeon.

Yeah, questing is the way to go. Even if you don’t have access to heirloom gear.
That is the downside of no RDF for old content. Nobody is there anymore to run it, and with boosting dead you can’t even just pay someone to blow up Wailing Caverns for the quest rewards to help push you along either.
Edit: I suppose you could toss some gold at an 80 just to murder everything in sight. But still, just questing nonstop is the way.
