Why not allow us to run visions more than once to collect cores until we are caught? Like who wants to spend their hard sought tokens buying cores and then just sit there and be behind because you cant afford to make the appropriate build… Extremely lame. I can spend 16k echoes and catch up or buy my stats that I need to progress further.
Also people are saying 89 res or 92 is max. Is that while wearing the extra 10 corruption from one of your neck talents? Anyone know?
This is the way to do it. Stop gating the fun stuff, let the people who are here sandbox their fun until SL.
92 is max on the cloak, you would have 102 with the 10 from your essence.
It won’t happen. Blizzard wants you to be in the game as long as possible, even with catch up mechanics. Lmao.
Yes, but they made it significantly easier to level it to 15, so, it can be done in 1-2 weeks.
Thats great! Your pseudo main will love this as much as mine will. But go level something new to 120, you know the real reason catchup mechanisms were implemented in the first place: you need at least 4 essences, likely 5 or 6, vessels for the cloak if you want to speed it up, corruption for your gear, and at least 12 malefic cores. All using the same currency, ill let you do the math. Whereas they could have just made cores drop after every vision clear.

The same happened to me. I did Nzoth and vision before the hotfix. Was able to buy cores after the hotfix came out up to 89 and now the cores are no longer available.
This is y I’m just gonna pool resources till they finally make it better. If they don’t I can still get it all at once when I have it so no real loss. Least on the alt. Cause at the moment they are just Cu**ing the situation to get ppl to log in. Should have been 1 vision 1 core from the start like a lot of ppl have recommended. Sad tbo there are some fun builds to try out and spend time on before it all goes away. Sad they gate what little fun there is in a very low opinion system like corruptions. They seem to just alway double down on stubborn!

is anyone else having problems purchasing Malefic Cores? I got one of my alts to 89 after I was able to purchase 2 of them but now I cant buy the last one to get it to 92. I already got the ones from raid and visions. not sure what the problem is. have over 7K echoes left just in case the question come up 
i am also stuck at 89. i need one more core before raid tonight. blizzard please fix.

Yeah I’m in the same situation being stuck at 89. You aren’t alone! Though hopefully I can buy that last one soon.

The cost of the cores are far too high and can hardly be classified as a catchup.
It takes around 8-9 Myhtic 15 runs to get 2k echoes hardly something a Alt is likely able too do.
The amount of echoes from all activities is far far too low given the costs of essences,corruptions and now cores.
All these so called catchups are just a thinly disguised attempt too keep people subbed longer while blizz continues too timegate/grind every aspect of the game.

And it is fixed now, ty! I was able to buy my last core to upgrade my cloak to +92 resistance.
They should have started the expansion with this. I came back a few months ago, and I may never get all my essences. I’m trying, but there is so much to do, I can’t find time to do it all at once.
