Howdy! I’ve been farming Uldaman for a while (close to 2000 runs) and am yet to see 1 of the 7 rare RARES drop. If I recall after TBC items like Pendulum of Doom and Miner’s Hat of the Deep only drop off bosses now is that correct? Anyone else been farming Uldaman and have any luck with the 7 rare rares?

It is from retail but Classic is following retail so it should be the same.
Ehhhh it’s a little different. The way dungeon trash drops work often varies from expansion to expansion (there’s a reason Shadowfang is much more rare in TBC onwards compared to Vanilla). I think post-Cata, the chance to see Uldaman trash drops is absolutely decimated due to the rework, but it’s hard to prove.
I remembered something very similar to what you said but i couldnt remember if it was when wotlk dropped or cata dropped

I’m beginning to think in Uldaman (like in Shadowfang Keep) that you need a mob to be 3 levels higher than the drop (or a boss) for it to have a chance to drop.
I have had 2 Uldaman rares drop off the end chest
See i get shoveler and Popefez on my low alts.
I go with main toon and nothing much drop of all…
wonder if it just my luck
