I’ve started farming this mount on 4 toons…3 of which have completed it this week and I’ll do the last toons run tonight.
I’ll be at my 12th kill only recently started due to seeing it in my mount journal and loving the look of it.
I heard of numerous people getting it in under 20 kills which for a 0.78% chance seems crazy.
What was your experience farming Invincibles Reins?

Off and on for about 4 years. Usually at the end of patches.
Got it last week.
One of the few mounts I can’t be bothered to farm, partly the insane drop chance but mostly since you have to clear the whole place before finally killing LK
this mount does things to a man. my boyfriend leveled like 12 characters just to speed up the process. i dont know how hes capable of running it so much. im in a never ending process of hyping myself up to get it and giving up right after for a few months. im also the same way with the dragonsoul mounts. 
3rd run on this toon and the 4th run 6 months later, I had someone with me on the 4th run to give it to and is the reason I ran it at all
Lost count, many many years.
I don’t remember the exact # of kills, but I worked on it casually during late Cata-MoP. Not really serious mode farming, I’m sometimes lucky with no effort like that.
Saw it drop three times! First went to the raid leader, a girl known for actively making farm groups so everyone agreed she deserved it. Second was ninja stolen by a different leader. That classic last second “switch to Master Loot and bail” move. >.> Third time was mine though! Since I was soloing.
I gave after i found out you had to clear the whole dang raid… I aint the patience for that lol.
Given that there have been millions of runs, it happens. The chance that it will happen to you is tiny.
0.78% chance suuucks.
It means that every time you kill the boss, it rolls a dice with 128 sides. If you get the lucky number you’ll win.
And it resets every time you try.
Before the >shudder< scaling, ran ICC over a dozen times a week with my spouse. Invincible dropped after about 60 runs.
Over 700 runs on 15 tons a week til it dropped
Doing my last kill on my last toon for the week haha wish me luck!
Ran it off and on with an assortment of characters.
Doing the shadowmourne chain helped with the “why am I here AGAIN” feeling.
I think I got it after around a year on 13 characters a week
I think it was on the 3rd or 4th run; wasn’t expecting it to drop that quickly.
RNG is fickle.
