It’s actually comical how bad alliance is in battlegrounds. Alliance is always bragging about one minute queues but I wouldn’t find it fun queueing into games where half my team is afk sitting at a base. Not only is majority of the team AFK, but they hit like a wet noodle. Anyway, thank you for making it a walk in the park to farm p1 pre-bis pvp gear. Noobs.

I’m probably at about a 65% win rate but I’ve only done about 15 eots or so.
1m queue > 30m queue any day of the week. If the team sucks who cares I’m out of the game in 5-10minutes and back into a new one. Horde have to let their horrible loss sink in for 30 minutes.

I was doing some bg’s before outland launched to have some better gear on my ally boost, and I noticed that we did lose more often, but it was quick losses, whereas the only way horde won was to drag it out and turtle. And just think, even before turtling they had to wait 5 times as long before even getting into the BG lmao. That must suck a lot. I’d be pretty salty too if it took over an hour to get the same amount of reward as someone on alliance side can get in 20 minutes or less.

My theory is that most ‘good’ alliance players that did premades and stuff moved over to horde when tbc launched. Blood elves are the most popular race, at least from Original TBC to Legion. So i’m guessing most alliance players just wanted to switch over to the infamous Blood elf Paladin. Also the horde racials are much better for PvP in TBC, especially the Blood elf AoE silence thats only on a 2min cooldown.
Or it could be that most of those alliance players are still lvling up toons in outlands and doing the new content, so that’s why there isn’t as many premades right now.
From my experience through the years of playing WoW, alliance mainly sucks at PvP unless its a premade discord group. Most famous WoW players that are alliance aren’t actually good at PvP, they just stick out more than the rest because everyone else around them just sucks so bad.
The alliance premades in BGs was the Cancer of Classic. I just hope that the premades aren’t as frequent in TBC.
Waiting over an hour to get into a BG, only to find out that your going up against a cancerous group of premade asmongold wannabe scumbags and having to stand in the BG graveyard not rezzing to not give them honor, or leaving the BG entirely Sucks. Without premades they would crumble, and whenever the Horde makes a premade group and goes up against an alliance premade, the alliance always just leave the BG because they cant get easy kills, wins, and Honor. Lol.

As someone who plays both factions I can say that you are clearly blinded by confirmation bias.
Horde are just as bad at PvP as Alliance are sometimes even worse. Horde premades are just as annoying to play against as Alliance premades. There are just as many Horde players that only PvP for the rewards to PvE and then never PvP again. Horde players throw games just like Alliance players do.
Yeah, I play both sides. The quick queue does create that attitude in some. I do not think this is an alliance and horde issue. I do not think ally players are worse at PVP either. I think it’s a short queue issue.
If the queue is instant the attitude in some is “Just get it over with and go next” since the next game is only a minute away. It was really bad in pre-patch on weekday work hours in AB as a pug alliance. Like it was painful to play in those games on my alliance speaking as someone who actually likes to PVP. I spoke up pretty loud against the AFKing thing and supported the 8-day suspensions that were taking place.
