Yeah numbers really dont tell the whole story. Many races suffer from having a wide variety of options that are all low quality (e.g. all NE male faces except the one everyone uses). Orcs “technically” have the most choices but it isn’t like their tooth rings enrich them as much as the many high quality choices humans have do (and like you said, who wants the hunch?)
But nightborne have the worst of both worlds. Few choices which are generally low quality
