So, do you think it’s OK to spread hate? It seems like one of these was an event for some fairly toxic people (anti-trans, islamophobic, etc. surely they aren’t all as bad as that, but at least two are), and the other even was for “men’s rights.” Personally, the idea that men need more rights is ridiculous. I’m a cishet white American male in my 30’s, I know for a fact that the deck isn’t stacked against us.
So the two events you cited were basically platforms for toxic people to speak out against marginalized groups (I could be wrong, I only did a little searching on those involved).
So, why do you think it’s OK for people like that to be given a space to be heard? The First Amendment of America’s Constitution basically says (about free speech) that the government will not imprison you for saying things, not that you are free from the consequences of what you say.

I believe you when you say that not all right wingers spread hate. I have close friends who are Republicans. One of them even supports Donald Trump (but he stays far away from anything resembling being informed; he just wants the Republicans to be the good guys because that’s how it was when he was younger).
The problem is that when it comes to right wing conservatives, the ones who speak the most are also the ones who spread the most hate. Milo Yiannopoulos is a great example of this, and he’s at the top of the list of your last cited article.
Is the right wing all about hate? No, but they certainly have aligned themselves with certain interests that are all about hate.
milo is one. what about ben shapiro? not hate speech, yet he is constantly shut down by left wing students.
what about the international mens day event being canceled?
fact is i have backed up my claim that the left likes to be awfully pro censorship of late.
meanwhile the person in question still hasn’t shown anywhere that “right wingers are brain damaged”.
Also I think it’s kinda funny that a thread called “False reporting and automated ban” will probably see people get falsely reported and automatically banned.

LOL! Well, it won’t be false reporting and banning considering politics isn’t part of the topic at hand, and falls under “trolling” and “spamming” no matter which side of the aisle the poster falls.
Simply shows how great the auto-squelching will be to clear a lot of that type of stuff out of public chat channels.
