When trying to do the “Retaking the forge” quest, I keep falling through the floor on the elevator when trying to fight the “Watcher Aum-ka”. This is repeatable and happens no matter the angle I step onto the elevator to fight him.

Same here. I fell through the elevator today, and I have no idea how to get out. I managed to kill the guy using my aoe “rain of fire”, but didn’t really matter since I couldn’t loot him (out of range; too far below him). Blizzard, please fix this soon.

Same here. Have reported the bug three times over the last week or so. AS this prevents completion of the questline, would appreciate a timely fix.

Same here too. Reported a bug, raised a support ticket, tried approaching the titan from every angle you could think of and the second you step on the floor, bloop, you’re in the underfloor having to abandon the quest. It’s starting to annoy me. I’ve tried this about a dozen times with this character. It used to work as I passed this with two other characters months ago, but now… AGGH! Come on Blizzard, fix it. This is unplayable!

i found a temporary bug fix. when you unlock the elevator after killing the boss and aligning the beams, make the elvator go to 3rd floor without going on it and then back to first. In my case, i could then go on the elevator without falling

pretty typical from Blizzard lately, no telling how long it’s been bugged. Did this quest line on a different toon a while back and now trying to do it ago and the damn elevator is bugged.

Unless you find older threads complaining about this, it was probably broken in the past couple of weeks. A lot of things that were working fine up until patch 9.1 are no longer working. Some things I see broken that were working the day before. It makes me wonder what they’re doing that breaks things between resets.

Same happening here. Fell through the floor. Magni and my pet finished the boss, but the doors at the top of the return stairs will not open - can’t progress

After three attempts same issue… falling to floor beneath where I should be and STUCK.
No way out but to use a portal back to a city.

Gott bless thee Balgarath. This is the answer for anyone who doesn’t feel like waiting around for Blizzard to fix (or even respond to a ticket, and, if ever).
To be clear, you have to be able to kill the mini boss on the elevator with a ranged attack, it took me a good long while as an ilvl 190 ret paladin with limited ranged attacks. The “boss” Balgarath refers to killing is the one after killing this, and activating the elevator. Align the beams, kill the big Nzoth transforming boss, return to elevator, send to 3rd floor, back to 1st and all is well.

After falling through the floor and killing the boss, I was stuck underneath. It took me about 50 jumps off the top of the stairs that are to the side, without armour on, to kill myself and resurrect above the platform. Idea courtesy of an older post

Another idea that worked for me (hunter) find the boss and dont go on the lift floor. One defeated stay on the stones and hit the swtich, it wont work and you have some extra quests to do. Once done return back and hit the switch standing on the side, the lift will work but you can’t stand on it. Send it back to the first floor and then it is possible to stand on, hit the switch again and back to the third floor. If you fall through after hitting the switch the first time old mate opens the doors so you can exit out of that other passage way.
Want to know a funny? I reported this when I was doing the beta. Its so comforting to know that some things dont change…

happened to me to today. very frustrating because i already used up my automatic character stuck ticket and now i have to wait 24 hours with no way to contact the monkeys at blizzard to get my character unstuck… unsubscribed because very unhappy with what wow became and the lack of customer service. no more GMs?
This quest is still bugged with the falling through the floor. I’m honestly in awe that this bug hasn’t been corrected considering how long it’s obviously been broken.
