Everyone knew it was going to be the streamer server, it has some of the biggest names of streaming on there. It’s one of the downsides of choosing to be on that server. Whenever one of them starts streaming the ques will spike way up, players hoping to get caught on stream or to dungeon/raid with them.
Either take the transfer or get use to it.
“Buffing up” the layers will not magically cut down the queue time. A server can only handle so much traffic. That traffic is created by the total number of users connected to it, not the number of layers.
All layers does is try to ease the competition in the world. Instead of having 10,000 players competing for herb/mining nodes, mobs for quests and general overcrowding which would cause a lot of lag, you get say 2,000 on each of 5 layers.
It’s still 10,000 players creating traffic on the server.
Have you considered that maybe they can’t raise the player limit on the server due to stability risks if they do increase it?
Making the server caps bigger just makes it more inviting for more people to play there.
It doesn’t solve the queue problem.
of course the best server ever is going to have q times
Transfer.
help the low pop servers out, no queue times
win win
Yup, the same way a person has nothing to do with shooting someone, because technically it was the gun amirite.
I transferred of a high pop server and no longer have queues. It 100% fixed the problem for me. I could care less what might happen if people maybe do something on a server I don’t play on.
That server is full of streamers and their no lifer minions.

Then that would be a you problem, not a Blizzard problem…

You chose to play on a server that literally EVERYONE knew (well before release) would be overcrowded because it’s the server that several famous/infamous streamers announced they would be playing on.
-
You chose to ignore Blizzard’s warning after they made it a point of making a post on the forums before release basically saying, “Hey, this server is super crowded and will experience insanely high queue times. You might want to consider playing on these new servers we just opened up instead!”.
-
You chose to not take advantage of the FREE character transfers to a different realm as they attempted to alleviate the traffic on that server.
-
You choose to continue trying to log in to that full server day after day because you decided fangirling or whatever your reason is for refusing to leave that server is more important than the time you waste sitting there staring at the loading screen.
You don’t get to just blow off every single attempt Blizzard has made at fixing queue times on that server then act like a petulant child on the forums demanding they do something because you’re tired of waiting to log in. Your choices have consequences, deal with it or find a new server.
garbage logic. “Other people will just take my place so why work to fix my situation? It’s bLiZzArDs ReSpOnSiBiLiTy”
shut up and transfer servers or deal with the q.

“I wanna play with the streamers!”
Welp, that comes with queues.
oh, ok ill take a look thanks lol
Worst decision I’ve ever made. 6 or 7 of the same guild running around and “INV TO ASMON GUILD” spam.
#NoChanges if you don’t wanna a server with queue, go to a low pop realm. it’s easy
That shouldn’t be allowed though!!! No one should be able to go to full servers. The caps should be raised so the people there can play.
