Faerin Lothar is ugly and forgettable

im not the one trying to make all women in games ugly, which is offensive to women as a whole

Making black characters

Black people existing is not political or a trend. In this make believe world we can have time travel, demons, and magic but black people are too much. Lol. k.

The people who act like itā€™s all totally innocent and representative of the times when these companies and developers will come right out and say nonsense like ā€œitā€™s time for white men to step asideā€ are so goofy

So you want to be the arbiter of what is and isnā€™t acceptable to talk about on the forum? Imagine my shock. Again, trying to force your will on others.

Itā€™s called Date to Die For.

I think itā€™s a prequel thing? I donā€™t know, I only watch it on YouTube when Scary Game Squad plays it.

All women? No?

No one is saying ā€˜allā€™ women should be made ugly in video games. One female character with a strong jawline and battle scars isnā€™t going to suddenly turn every single female character into someone who looked like they hit the ugly tree and every single branch on the way down.

So whoā€™s gonna tell Olivia Wilde that sheā€™s now considered ugly by WoW forum standards?

ā€˜ā€˜most ppl dont agree that shes pretty so they should delist itā€™ā€™

Check out what Hazzikostas himself said about white male resumes in his venturebeat interview.

faerin would be amazing if they translated her in game model to cgi

but nah. bc gotta use the ugly bat

Doesnt matter, I just dont care anymore. I used to never use my ignore button. I thought I was operating on principle. That I could disagree with someone in one thread, agree with them in another. I wanted to give people a chance to not be horrible.

At this point? Iā€™ve been adding to it regularly. I just dont have enough time anymore to deal with either of those options.

Damn, with the way some people are acting in this thread, how many more posts before they whip out the phrenology calipers

You know, Faerin isnā€™t a ā€œblack personā€ in the way yā€™all are talking about it.
Sheā€™s not a human. Sheā€™s a Half-Elf. She doesnā€™t represent anyone really.

is that from 2021

How is it that this woman is a half-blind paraplegic but Tyrande never got so much as a scar at any point in the past 10,000 years? Tyrande stood toe to toe with Sargeras for a half minute, she still looks flawless.

I am all for positive representation in games but the idea of a woman with zero depth perception and who only has command of one arm leading a military organization beggars belief.

Honestly heavily curating your social media/forum/etc. content is the way to go just in general if you want to do anything other than political mudslinging.

I had to start doing it on my god damned meme sites cause it became like 80% political headline ragebait posting.

A lot of times itā€™s just people want to throw a tantrum so itā€™s like just let them theyā€™ll eventually realize things are fine and then find something else to get outraged by

Skin color has always been meaningful and significant in the Warcraft universe. Itā€™s one of its hallmarks. The idea that ā€œBlack Humansā€ arenā€™t going to just RNG spawn next to White Humans is not some assault against Africans.

Again, literally nobody had a problem with Wastewander Bandits, and people were actually excited to see the land that they came from because they made sense.

Sounds about right. I think we were in the thick of shadowlands when he decided to go mask-off anti-white racist.

Since when?

Please, point to me a single time the story actually made a point of talking about skin color.
