Faerin class needed

Now we’ve just moved on to what is effectively saying a wizard did it.

Mate, the whole game is basically “a wizard did it”. Even the normal “warriors” are super soldiers in their own right by warcraft lore. Lothar Bloodline is a powerful bloodline, with just pure strength or with magic or a combination of both.

Magic exists, lore wise, it fits. A wizard did it is warcrafts bread and butter.

Why was there a lich king? Because a wizard did it.

Why did the elves fall? Because of a dark wizard.

It brings up the obvious question of why she doesn’t just make a new arm out of light if she can just do whatever she wants anyways.

Because she grew up without the light and learn to fight one handed. I mean, they literally have the technology to make her an arm and she refuses because she learned how to train with a shield and one handed with a lance and her light magic. Maybe she never had the power to make a light arm, as you put it, until now and now, she already learned how to live her life without her arm and having an arm now, during a war, will be a determent.

She will need to relearn how to do everything with a new arm. Maybe in the future she will but as of right now, she doesn’t want to.

I wanted to kick her off a cliff, but she never got close enough.

and I wanted to bed her lol

To much of a Mary Sue, Did not like the char one bit and every time she spoke it was nails on a chalkboard. The zone and it’s lore in gen was neat tho!

I’m not trying to be a jerk here, but these are just arbitrary answers. I know it’s all any of us have because this is a fictional character and we can’t see her thought process and can only go off the writing and voice lines provided by Blizzard, but the extent of her abilities are poorly defined and inconsistent. She comes across as some teenager’s OC with all the powers she has paired with the missing arm and odd shield. Add in the zoomer broccoli haircut and it just makes her ragebait for a lot of people.

She was a Mary Sue? How? She lost her friends, she is emotionally scarred but has a stiff upper lip and needs our help majority of the time. Also she was fun to listen to.

I still say watching her fly off a cliff would bring a smile to some people’s faces.

Dude, she just has a high top, an old A haircut. She just has curly hair. But that is a hightop through and through.

Not really, to me it was always consistent. She is a lamplighter and was on the frontlines majority of the times. Her ability seems normal for a frontliner and the light is all based on will power, and sometimes your will will fail you and falter. It happened to Arthas a lot.

I mean, it is a fantasy game. A lot of characters are like this. Look at the orcs with Fel magic and fel blades infused into their arms.

It feels like a “Check Box” char. Remember that Blizzard “Inclusive wheel” they made and got leaked and everyone freaked out. It feels like her char came strait from that and I just can’t take it serious and makes it highly annoying to interact with.

Got it, it’s because she is black and disabled. Not anything to do with her actual character but just her design. Say no more brother.

Everything to do with her char, people always try to turn things into something its not. I don’t care about her race or that she is disabled. But it feels like a jumbled char with zero depth that was made to check box’s then be a integral part of the story.

lol again, you didn’t say anything about her character but just her looks. Zero Depths? You clearly didn’t stay and listen between her and anduin if you actually think that.

Check box and inclusive wheel says it all. Say no more, brother.

No I said I wanted to kick her off a cliff, and no, I did not stick around half the time to Listen to her monologue and Manduin cry. Again, interacting with her sucked.

Yep, when you have no other defense got to revert to something it aint. Get over it, her char sucks and have zero interest in having to deal with her anymore. Hopefully it will be a char that is killed off early in the saga.

okay, buddy.

So, this might be slightly off-topic, but since we’ve already wandered into realism…

Can we get either a single one handed sword or sword and dagger spec already? It’s a really cool looking aesthetic that /also/ has historical precedence. There’s sword and off-hand which sort of fits the single sword, but all the classes that could use it never even use their weapons except holy paladins who still suffer from not using a shield (despite now having two handed weapons in their loot pool) and can’t get off-hands in their loot pool.

I’d even take an invisible shield transmog at this point.

This is true, though I wish we got one-handed spears that are not using the sword kit. I want spear animations
