Some friends and I recently came back and started playing leveling again on a different server, none of us have played Horde for wotlk classic. We haven’t won a single IoC the last couple days. Does AV work out this way for Alliance now also? Does Horde dominate the 40 mans? Almost makes us wanna reroll.

Horde regularly go on long losing streaks, which stinks, but on the other hand, we’re cute.

Split runs out the gate…loss happens more. Go for all 3…laugh as we take none of them. Awesome!
Leave glaives not defended, they die…loss happens more.
leave hangar poorly manned, it flips…loss happens more.
I have found (I play both sides) horde likes to zug zug more than defend. Alliance will defend more readily.
Fun fact…if you keep glaives up with only 1 of 2 upgrades…its killing the door faster than the airship. Alliance is more likely to leave 50% to defend them than horde.
Annoying as hell too on horde. I usually take glaive defence and go yeah…this is jsut pointless for the too few we have here.
i have only played horde side, but it does seem like the horde tend to be impatient and aggressive, where alliance are not, more horde players want to see “them big numbies” which i suspect is why it seems like more often than not alliance have more healers…it’s almost as if people are roleplaying their faction without even knowing they’re doing it.

The alliance is the dominant PvP faction these days.
The old horde guard is gone. Only a handful of us remain.
From what I’ve been seeing on the battlefield lately, horde’s got a sad future ahead of it going into Cata. Count one more old school horde gone when that happens.
Most pvpers transferred ally for wotlk. I know people who weren’t even near glad range who still went ally
Also AV map favours ally now if both sides pve race (it favoured horde during vanilla classic). Horde can choke at shgy / ibgy but realistically, most people in AV are just semi alt-tabbed looking for honour per hour

if you want to focus on PVP i would suggest that you play alliance, most people who play horde this days play just to pve as they pvp just to leech honor/arena points while the alliance are dominating the arena ladder & winning most bg’s.

71-79 bracket, Bet we won 75% of our games this weekend on horde side.
Saturday evening thru all day Sunday, was back to back wins, with only the occasional loss.
I find that 66% of the time on a random BG, Horde lose. I play Alliance, and I know everyone’s experience is different but the Horde pretty much owns Warsong Gulch and I think that’s where all the good Horde players play. IoC and Wintergrasp the Horde have some wins as well that make those ones more like 50/50.
I have WG not even faction based.
Its luck of the draw for how many south people when on defence.
When 50%+ of the team is trying like hell for 3 tower quest…loss is coming. Stupidity is not limited to just one faction lol.
We don’t need all 12 rides on towers. and more than half the people doing rotate cata games or using their engineer bombs on the towers.
A good/smart offence is driving hard as hell knowing its 2 walls and a door in record time. Since they can see like only 20 people like me didn’t go tower hunting.
I personally never do this quest. I backcap or die trying to hold the keep since I want wins.
That’s cause horde have huge 70 and 79 twink guilds. Alliance has like 1, 80 bracket is much different than 70s
